Their shared love for culinary exploration also bonds them, as the Hollywood star and Michael are self-proclaimed food lovers. They make sure to sample local dishes wherever they travel, forging unforgettable sibling memories marked by adventure.
Their sibling bond has roots beyond travel and stretching back to their childhood. When the actress was a young child, around five or six years old, she returned home from school with doubts about Santa Claus's existence.
Michael, who was six years her senior, took it upon himself to preserve the magic of Christmas for his little sister. Michael's sister recalled the moment, saying her brother assured her he would reveal the truth.

Eagerly, she listened, and Michael told her that Santa didn't ride a sleigh because people couldn't fly. Instead, he explained that Santa used a plane to travel the world in a single night.
Michael's creative explanation bought his sister another year of believing in Santa Claus, even though he had dispelled the traditional image of the sleigh-riding Santa with a clever twist involving a plane.

Michael Moved to the US with His Family
The Kunis family immigrated to the US in 1991. Michael's sister spent the first seven years in Kyiv, Ukraine, before their family relocated to Los Angeles. The move happened during significant changes in the Soviet Union, driven by Michael's parents' desire for a better future for their family.
With only $250, they boldly decided to leave their life in Ukraine behind. Michael's father took on various odd jobs in their new home, including painting houses, installing toilets, and delivering pizza. His mother worked in the back room of a drugstore.
Fast forward to a 2013 interview, Mila revealed that her parents had retired and were finding it difficult to adapt to their newfound leisure time, as they hadn't yet developed any hobbies. Her dad was a cab driver, while her mom worked at RiteAid.

Following his parents' retirement, Michael attempted to introduce his father to golf, although it initially proved to be a struggle. Michael's sister also mentioned that their mother was adjusting to a routine of morning walks to break free from the confines of home.
The actress expressed happiness that her parents were no longer working but noted that the transition to retirement was challenging for them since they had always been hard-working individuals.
