Stephanie Koenig’s Husband Chris Riggi Is Also an Actor & Producer

Stephanie Koenig and Chris Riggi enjoyed their first wedding anniversary in 2023, and the lovebirds are pushing strong. As fellow actors with ample experience in behind-the-scenes work, they have collaborated numerous times.

Stephanie Koenig's husband, Chris Riggi, drew his first breath in New York on September 18, 1985, born to Ron and Michele Riggi. The youngest of his siblings, he grew up in Saratoga Springs, where his family is reputable for their North Broadway Palazzo.

Riggi had an early start in entertainment, taking acting and improv classes as a child. He attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts and later honed his craft at the New York Film Academy and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.

Stephani Koenig's Husband: He Starred in a 'Twilight' Parody Film

Riggi's onscreen work began in the late 2000s with minor parts in TV shows like "Human Giant," "Guiding Light," and "Lipstick Jungle." His earliest film roles were in the 2009 dramas "Toe to Toe" and "Dare," and he also appeared in a few episodes of "Gossip Girl" that year.

In the series, Riggi played Scott Rosson alongside Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, and Ed Westwick. In 2010, he starred as Jacob White in "Vampires Suck," a parody of Taylor Lautner's character, Jacob Black, in the "Twilight" film series.

He underwent a protein-heavy diet and intense workout routine, visiting the gym three times a day to achieve a physique similar to Lautner's. Two years later, he started working behind the camera, producing his first movie short, "Bazaaro."

He continued acting, starring in "Adult World" with Emma Roberts and John Cusack. Riggi also appeared in the multi-Emmy-winning biographical series "Impeachment: American Crime Story," playing Jake Tapper, who lauded his performance, opposite Beanie Feldstein.

Stephanie Koenig and Chris Riggi's Wedding

Riggi and Koenig haven't shared much about their relationship, but they married in June 2022. The couple shared wedding photos and clips on their Instagram pages that month. "I can't stop smiling because I married my best friend @stephaniekoenig," Riggi gushed, alongside pictures of him and Koenig posing in their attire.

Koenig also shared her favorite moments and wrote, "Someone give me a time machine so I can go to this wedding again." Riggi felt the same, as he shared, "Best day of my life" a few months later, alongside a picture of him posing in his tux.

In 2019, Koenig and Riggi co-starred in "Web Series: The Movie," a comedy written and directed by Brian Jordan Alvarez. Koenig played Rebecca Djigstadt, while Riggi produced the film and portrayed Matthew Giacomi.

In 2020, Riggi released the low-budget comedy-drama "Good Luck with Everything," featuring Koenig as Noelle. The movie began streaming on Amazon Prime that October, the same month Riggi and Koenig started hosting online acting classes.

In 2021, the couple collaborated on "A Spy Movie." Koenig wrote and directed the action parody, while Riggi worked as executive producer and cinematographer. Koenig talked about the movie conception and filming experience in a January 2022 podcast interview.
