Her latest victory stems from her recently celebrated album, in which she won Best Dance/Electronic Compilation. More than just a songstress with an incredible and irreplicable voice, the star has also made her mark as an actress, having starred in several critically acclaimed films.
In addition to her talents as an actress, her looks have also been discussed. The beauty icon was deemed by People magazine as the World's Most Beautiful Woman in 2012, right after she had given birth to her first child.
Seven years after winning the title, the singer placed second for the same accolade. According to a scientific calculation method devised in Ancient Greece to measure someone's beauty according to facial symmetry, called the Golden Ratio, the Houston-born star scored 92.44% out of 100%.
It All Started with a Shy Little Girl Who Came Alive on Stage
The beauty queen, who scored a whopping 92.44% according to the Golden Ratio, is none other than the irreplaceable Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, 42. Before achieving ultimate superstardom, the Houston native was a shy little girl with a deep passion for performing.
While sitting down for an interview years ago, the interviewer played adorable home footage taken when Beyoncé was not older than seven. The videos showed the undefeated performer jamming out with another little girl while chanting a rhyme, and the one after that showed the young diva getting down to a Michael Jackson song.
After the videos stopped playing, Beyoncé explained how she always had a knack for performing and holding a microphone. Although, as a child, she was very shy.
At some point, her mom, Tina Knowles, decided to put her and her sister, Solange Knowles, in dance class. One day during class, her dance teacher, Darlette Johnson, noticed the young girl singing a song by chance, and she asked her to sing for her. Beyonce recalls:
"...she was like, 'Baby, sing, sing for me, I heard you over there singing to the track. Sing for me.' And I did, and she was like, 'You can really sing!' And she told me to perform at a talent show, and I started performing; I fell in love with the stage."
Interestingly, when she performed on stage in the talent show her dance teacher implored her to participate in, Beyoncé said that her parents had never seen her perform before until that moment. At such a young age, Beyoncé's dance instructor knew she would become a big star.
While recounting her perspective of the story, Johnson spoke about how she had been singing a song off-key, and little Beyoncé proceeded to finish the tune and hit a note that she was particularly impressed by.
Of the moment she gushed to Beyoncé's parents about their daughter's marvelous talents, Johnson recalled saying:
"...and when her parents came to pick her up, I said, 'She can sing! Do you know she can sing?!' And they [were] like, 'Yeah, you know, she sings around the house.' I said, 'No, she can sing, she really can sing!'"
From there, Beyoncé performed in numerous talent competitions and thus began her journey to fame. Beyoncé's parents were willing to make the necessary sacrifices to help their daughter achieve her dream and see her succeed. Her dad, Mathew Knowles, even quit his job to manage her career for a while.
As a fierce mama bear, her paramount wish is to see her children be healthy and happy and achieve their dreams.
When Beyoncé started as one of the founding members of the ever-popular girl group Destiny's Child, her family went from a two-income household to a one-income one. Mama Tina, who worked at her hair salon, reflected on that time and recounted:
"It was very stressful...We had to scale down the house. Sell the cars..."
Nonetheless, Tina and Mathew did what they had to do as they saw their daughter's increased confidence and drive whenever she would sing. However, her road to stardom was difficult: her initial girl group lost a prominent competition, Destiny's Child went through reboots and member switching, and scandalous rumors surfaced about Beyoncé being responsible for the group's breakup.

Luckily, through talent, ambition, hard work ethic, and loving parents, Beyoncé became a force to be reckoned with within the industry. Moreover, throughout her incredible accomplishments, she has remained humble, which started from a young age. At 16, she gave the following advice to other budding young stars:
"Keep God first...Pray every night and be serious with your prayers. Also, stay humble..."
Her doting mom, Tina, has been instrumental in teaching her all about humility, which started with an important lesson she taught both her girls. During a conversation with Maria Shriver, Tina was asked how she deals with potential sibling rivalry between her daughters. Of her methods, Tina revealed:
"Well, what I always did is, I was very sensitive to that because I grew up where my mom loved—I mean, I felt like my mother liked my brother more...so I was really sensitive to it. So I had days that I devoted to—on Wednesdays, I took off from work, and that was Solange's day, and she was a lot younger than Beyoncé..."
Tina admitted that, at times, juggling her daughters was challenging, given the fact that Beyoncé had already started gaining recognition while Solange was still very little. She divulged that she had even placed her daughters in counseling to assist Solange's big sister in being more sensitive toward her.
Overall, one of the most important lessons Tina taught Solange and Beyoncé was never to be insecure about anyone else and to harness their own beauty. To this day, due to their good-natured hearts, loving and supportive mom and family, the two sibling stars are each other's fiercest protectors instead of rivals.

A few years into their marriage, they welcomed their firstborn daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, in 2012. Beyoncé explained how giving birth to Blue Ivy redefined her definition of love. She also deemed it her proudest moment when she became a mom to her eldest.

At 36, the proud mom became a mother of three when she and Jay-Z welcomed twins Rumi and Sir Carter. As a fierce mama bear, her paramount wish is to see her children be healthy and happy and achieve their dreams.
One such dream saw Blue Ivy join her mother on stage for her top-rated "Renaissance" tour. In her caption, Beyoncé boasted about her pride in her daughter and marveled at how much joy she has brought with her debut performances.
By the looks of it, it appears as though young Blue Ivy may be following in her mama's entertainer footsteps soon, as she has already started to make her mark in show business.
