Kourtney Kardashian recently paid a birthday tribute to her husband, Travis Barker. This comes after reports that the couple welcomed their first child together at the beginning of this month.
Barker, a musician, turned 48 on November 14, 2023. His wife paid homage to him on Instagram alongside several pictures of the duo, which showed her when she was still pregnant.
"To my husband, my soulmate, my best friend, my lover, my daddy to our baby boy, my everything… I wish you the happiest birthday," penned the reality star.
Kardashian expressed that the Blink-182 drummer makes her dreams come true and that she is fortunate to have him in her life. "I love you beyond words, forever," she added.
Reports Revealed Kardashian & Barker Welcomed Their First Child Together
Multiple sources reported that the Lemme founder and the rocker welcomed their first baby together at the beginning of November 2023.
Insiders close to the couple said they welcomed a baby boy in Los Angeles. The television star's sister Kylie Jenner and Barker were reportedly seen at Cedars-Sinai on November 2, 2023. However, Kardashian and Barker have yet to release a formal statement on the arrival of their newborn.
"The Kardashians" star and the California native first announced that they were expecting in June 2023. She debuted her baby bump at one of Barker's band's Los Angeles concerts, holding up a cardboard sign that read: "TRAVIS I'M PREGNANT."
That same month, Kardashian hinted on Instagram that she and Barker were having a boy. She shared photos of them outdoors posing with drums and captioned her post, "Little drummer boy coming soon."
Kardashian on Her Complicated Pregnancy
"The Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum experienced a difficult pregnancy. She revealed in a September 2023 social media post that she almost lost her baby.
"I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby's life," Kardashian penned. She was seven months pregnant at the time.
The media personality further divulged that she underwent "urgent fetal surgery" as a result but that all went well. In an October 2023 interview, Kardashian further shared details about her experience, saying that although she was not ready to divulge more, she would do that later. She added:
"It was terrifying."
However, she did admit that the pregnancy was going well during the same interview. Kardashian, who also has three kids with her former boyfriend, Scott Disick, said her fourth pregnancy was not easy while her first three were.
She is 44 years old and was given strict orders from doctors, which had never happened before. The mother of four underwent fertility treatment but ended up stopping it. She later learned that she was pregnant.
Kardashian revealed the option of assisted fertilization was pushed onto her as it was something she did not feel good about. When she eventually stopped the process, she fell pregnant naturally.
She said being pregnant boosted her self-confidence while adding that because pregnancy makes one vulnerable, that is when her most authentic self showed.
When asked about what she loves most about being a mom, Kardashian divulged that it is living life through her kids' eyes and doing what she did as a child with them. She enjoys creating traditions and memories with her offspring. "Being able to do that now with Travis is a dream come true," she added.
