Baber, who has over 7 million followers on TikTok, is convinced that she met a budding serial killer via Tinder.

She had just moved to Los Angeles and didn’t know anyone, so her roommate, Tori, suggested Baber download the Tinder app so she could meet new people.
Baber matched with a guy who seemed “really, really nice,” and being new to the Tinder dating scene, she made the mistake of letting the guy meet her at her house.

“I never used Tinder before, so I didn’t realize there was this whole thing where like you shouldn’t have them come to your house. This guy is like, ‘I want to meet,’ and I’m like, ‘Totally, come pick me up at my house,’” Baber elaborated.
The Tinder guy arrived at her house at the same time as Baber’s roommate’s ordered bed, and he took the opportunity to get into the home by making himself useful.

“He offers to build the bed for her. He builds her bed, and then he’s like, ‘Do you wanna go get some ice cream?’” Baber said.
As normal and nice as the Tinder guy seemed, things were about to take an unnerving turn as they walked to the ice cream shop.

Attempting to engage in small talk, Baber asked the Tinder guy whether he had read the book, “Don’t let the pigeon drive the bus,” after noticing a pigeon as they walked.

Baber recalled his chilling response, “And he’s like, ‘No, but I did stab a pigeon 27 times in the eye until it died with a toothpick.’”
Immediately Baber got wary of the Tinder guy. While she initially thought about calling it a day, Baber went for ice cream with him anyway since he seemed acceptable otherwise.

“Besides that, every single thing he said was so nice,” she elaborated.
On the walk back home after finishing their ice cream, Baber just hoped that he wouldn’t murder her, unable to forget his chilling words from earlier.

When they got back to her house, Baber told the Tinder guy that things between them wouldn’t work out.

“We go inside, and I go, ‘It was so good to meet you. Thanks for taking me out, bye.’ To be honest, I was planning on ghosting this guy,” she said.
Her plan didn’t work. The following day, the Tinder guy showed up at her doorstep.

“He brings homemade chocolate chip cookies. They look scary. Like if we eat them, we might get drugged,” she explained.
Neither Baber nor her roommate ate any of the cookies, but his attempts did not stop there. He blew up her phone with texts she decided not to answer. However, that only led to him showing up at her house again.

Despite Baber and her roommate, Tori’s second thoughts about letting him in, they did so anyway. The Tinder guy had a lot of questions and wanted to know what he had done wrong.
Baber chose the “generic” way to tell him that their relationship won’t work out, saying she couldn’t see them having a future together. But his reaction was anything but expected, especially since they’d only been on one date.

“This man starts bawling his eyes out, and then he said that that’s the exact same thing his ex-girlfriend said. And me and Tori are just standing there like, ‘What’s going on?’” Baber explained.

The Tinder guy spent the next hour “trauma dumping” on Baber and her roommate. It was then that Baber decided to tell him that she ghosted him because of his pigeon comment.

“This was a red flag I just couldn’t ignore because it’s one of the early signs of a serial killer. I don’t know where this man is today, which is why I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out,” Baber explained.
Baber’s experience highlights the importance of being attentive and discreet about personal information when meeting new people because you never know what someone’s true intentions might be. Your life may depend on it.
However, not all Tinder dates end with one of the parties fearing for their life. Some stories of true love have also blossomed courtesy of Tinder. For example, Fielder Jewett Became Hunter Doohan's Husband after They Met on Tinder.
After the couple met on a dating app, they became social media official before Jewett's partner went down on one knee to propose marriage! Their wedding day was a private affair with close family and friends in attendance.

Jewett, unlike his famous husband, is not an actor. Instead, he is going to become a lawyer. His Instagram reads that he is attending Los Angeles' Loyola Law School and will graduate in 2024. Jewett seems passionate about studying law but has a creative side.
Between 2007 and 2011, he majored in film study at Wesleyan University in Connecticut before enrolling in law school. After four years of college, he moved to California to work in the movie industry.
He was an assistant and additional crew on the 2013 romance drama film "Breathe In," which starred actors Guy Pearce and Felicity Jones. Jewett worked his way up in show business and became a producer before going freelance. He enjoyed working behind the scenes and has two producing credits to his name.
Doohan's husband was a co-producer in the 2017 drama "The Vanishing of Sidney Hall," starring actors Elle Fanning and Logan Lerman. Jewett had the same title in "Rosy," a comedy, romance, and drama film released in 2018. He worked as a freelance producer for over four years from January 2017 until August 2021. ·

He likes to keep his personal life low-key, even though he is becoming more well-known in the business, partly because his husband is also in the industry. His Instagram profile remains private. He has over 7,615 followers and 248 posts as of this writing.
In addition to his creativity, Jewett appears to have an adventurous personality as his bio read: "Travel, cool stuff, and the occasional bagel and lox." On the question of whether his husband is a "big movie dork" on the "Keep It" podcast in December 2022, Doohan replied in the affirmative:
"He's kind of a big everything dork…. He's always reading and watching stuff. He's so smart. We'll go to trivia nights, and I just kind of sit there and smile and watch him win the game for us."

The podcast's co-host, Louis Virtel, has known Jewett for over ten years and thinks of him as a "very nice LA gay guy." Virtel, who is notorious for his obscure pop culture knowledge, said that the former producer is one of the few people who have educated him on subjects he thought he knew everything about.
The podcaster shared a specific instance where they were out at a Los Angeles venue or restaurant. Jewett casually pointed to a chair, which was a reference to the 1948 Montgomery Clift western, "Red River." He and Doohan have been married for a year.
Jewett met Doohan through the dating app Tinder, where they both swiped right in 2015. They became Instagram official in June 2018, when the actor posted their first photo together on the platform.
They share a love of adventure, as seen in the aforementioned snap of the twosome in gray and blue jackets as they smiled on a hilltop by the sea. The actor also placed his hand on Jewett's right hip.
The budding star had shot "Your Honor" on location in New Orleans for many months, so he appreciated the opportunity to shelter in place with his boyfriend during the COVID-19 pandemic. A lot of their friends broke up, got hitched, or had a baby during this time. Doohan went for the second option and proposed to Jewett in December 2020.
To mark their new milestone, the handsome actor posted two photos of them on social media. In the first, he knelt before Jewett while holding a box with a ring as their cat witnessed the couple's special moment. The second snap showed the pair enjoying some time in a park.

The couple tied the knot in June 2022. Doohan posted beautiful photos on Instagram from their wedding, which took place in a lush outdoor setting and was attended by their close family and friends. Jewett's husband wrote:
"It was absolutely the best day of our lives! Thank you to everyone who made it so special!"
Doohan and Jewett looked sharp and stylish in their matching black-and-white suits. The actor's co-star on the TV show "Your Honor," Bryan Cranston, officiated the wedding, which made the event even more memorable.
Since his quick rise to fame, Doohan's fans have been in awe of his thriving career and love life.
Like the rest of the Internet, the star's husband became much immersed in the multi-layered storyline of "Wednesday." Yet, with so much going on, Jewett was shocked that his partner did not tell him about the "evil pilgrim" plot point.

On January 8, 2023, Doohan celebrated his birthday by sharing images from the past year, including one from his wedding to Jewett where they were photographed kissing.
The star celebrated the year before and thanked his followers for their birthday wishes. Doohan's fans were thrilled when they found out about his marriage.

Many fans have expressed delight that Doohan has finally tied the knot with the love of his life. The actor's marital success echoes his achievements in the entertainment industry. The star, born on January 14, 1994, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, is best known for playing Tyler Galpin in the Netflix series "Wednesday."
There he appears opposite actress Jenna Ortega, who portrayed Wednesday Addams, a famous role previously played by actress Christina Ricci. Before playing his character in the comedy-horror series, Jewett's husband appeared in the drama series "Truth Be Told."

He also landed a small role in HBO's "West World" series and a lead role in the 2018 indie film "Soundwave." In addition to acting, Doohan is also a brilliant writer, producer, and director. In a Film 7 Frenzy interview, he revealed that he started writing first because no one gave him any opportunities in the industry.
Then, with help from his friends, Jewett's spouse learned how to film and put together short movies that he had written along the way. Doohan believed that learning to produce and direct were essential skills. He added:
"I think every young actor should be doing that. It's where I learned the most and it gave me a chance to show people what I could do."

His educational background was also fascinating. He went to Los Angeles for a summer internship with casting director Elizabeth Barnes instead of enrolling at Oklahoma University for a bachelor's degree in theater.
Jewett's husband ultimately put his college plans on hold and stayed in Los Angeles for longer. He then kept his day job for a little over four years. During that time, he also signed up for an acting program in Santa Monica.
