Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos' Gorgeous Son Turns 27, Looks like 'Daddy's Twin,' Leaving Fans Amazed

The handsome son of Hollywood couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos recently celebrated his 27th birthday and received a heartwarming birthday tribute from his doting parents. Fans who saw the birthday post took to social media to wish Kelly and Mark's eldest son well and point out the striking resemblance he shares with his father.

The 2nd of June was a very special day for Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos as they celebrated the birthday of their firstborn son, Michael Consuelos. On Sunday (June 2) the beloved TV stars took to Instagram to mark Michael's 27th with a beautiful dedication.

Kelly and Mark's post showcased a video they made to commemorate all the wonderful memories and experiences their son has had thus far in his life.

Accompanied by late iconic singer Curtis Mayfield's "Move On Up," the video started by showing an adorable baby picture of Michael before showing a throwback video of Mark holding him on the day he was born (June 2, 1997).

More home footage followed the aforementioned video, where both parents were seen doting on their newborn baby a few days after his birth. Kelly and Mark gave their followers a glimpse into precious moments they shared with Michael, like Mark protectively watching over him as the two lay on a bed.

Other footage featured snapshots of baby Michael being doted on by family members like his grandparents. Particularly heartfelt and significant moments from the home video footage displayed Michael smiling and having fun and taking his first crawl while his dad cheered him on from behind the camera.

More footage included beautiful mother-son bonding moments showing Kelly holding onto Michael as they swam in a pool and—in another instance—played with a dog. Amid all the wonderful snapshots, Kelly was also seen holding onto baby Michael's hands as he took his first steps outside on the lawn.

Other adorable videos showed Michael in his toddlerhood being a happy-go-lucky kid. Michael's parents also showed footage of his first Halloween where he was dressed as the Looney Tunes Tasmanian Devil character.

In another cute video, Michael was seen saying hello to the camera and answering questions from his dad, about his name and age. Additional memories shared by the parents included Kelly getting Michael's sister, Lola Consuelos, ready for another Halloween as he patiently waited beside them.

More footage then showed Michael being a loving big brother to Lola: Spending time with her, playing on the swings with her, and hugging her. The throwback video then showed an array of pictures of Michael as he entered his teen years.

This cohort of images showed more precious moments spent with family as he celebrated previous birthdays. Pictures also showed more family moments shared with Michael's parents, his sister, and his little brother, Joaquin Consuelos.

At the end of the post, Kelly and Mark included another throwback home video of a young Michael looking up at the camera and saying, "This show never ends." Alongside the touching birthday tribute, Kelly penned, "Happy 27th birthday to the founding member of our family @Michael.Consuelos 🎉 you got the ball rolling baby and we love you!"

In addition to the birthday video posted on her feed, Kelly also shared pictures of the celebration they had for Michael on her Instagram Story. One photo showed a delicious-looking spread of food set out on a table.

Layered over the photo was Kelly's caption which read "Birthday dinner vibes." The TV host also shared another image on her story which showed a close-up of what looked to be a berry tree and pinned a Happy Birthday sticker on top of the picture.

When admirers saw the "LIVE with Kelly and Mark's" birthday dedication, many of them showered Michael with birthday messages in the comment section and marveled at how similar he and Mark looked.

"He is his daddy's twin happy birthday," wrote a fan while another praised, "So handsome, just like his dad. Beautiful video, thanks for sharing." "Happy Birthday Michael," commented someone else.

A fan who was also taken aback by how youthful Michael's parents looked when he was a baby marveled, "Kelly and Mark were so young ❤️❤️." Bringing Michael's siblings, Lola and Joaquin, into the mix another admirer gushed, "No one can deny all of their kids are GORGEOUS."

Handsome looks are not the only thing Michael and Mark share as the two also have a close bond. In addition to teaching Michael and his brother how to shave—with video evidence filmed by their mom to prove it—Michael has also learned valuable lessons from Mark, like never washing denim jeans, especially ones that belong to his dad.

Denim jeans woes aside, Michael also inherited his father's sense of style. In an interview he did in 2022, Michael divulged about how he often borrowed clothes from his dad's "cool closet."

"I often raid my dad's closet — and he always notices. He's like, 'Hey, where's this?' And I'm like, 'Oh, you weren't home. You were in Vancouver for a while, so I figured…' He's like, 'Don't figure, ask!'" the 27-year-old disclosed.

Michael then joked about how his dad wants both him and Joaquin to look like him. He told a story about how he got new glasses that his dad also wanted and in response, Michael asked Mark if he could at least get them in a different color.

The handsome young man, who was once described by his mom as "such a good and decent and thoroughly kind person" with "the strongest moral compass," also spoke about how he, his dad, and his brother often wear the same outfits.

"My dad, my brother, and I will be wearing the same black pants and gray shirt and I'm like, I try to look a little different than that. I like to stand out a little bit," stated Michael Consuelos.

When it comes to the young actor who likes to use style to stand out, and his younger brother and sister, their parents could not be any prouder of the young adults they are growing into. Kelly Ripa and Mark boast about their kids' successes on many occasions, like when they celebrated Lola graduating as an NYU alumna.

To commemorate the momentous milestone, Lola's mom gifted her followers with a vibrant collage of snapshots from Lola's big day. On behalf of her and Mark, Kelly expressed overflowing pride in Lola's achievement in the heartfelt caption accompanying her post.

In the media included in the video post, Lola shone radiantly, sporting a chic white mini-dress which she later accessorized with the quintessential violet graduation gown and cap.

The photo series kicked off with Lola striking a pose in front of "2023" balloons, marking the milestone year. Subsequent photos saw her sharing sweet moments with her friends, her doting parents, and her older brother.

In her Instagram stories, Kelly highlighted the celebration's details. She showcased a freshly baked loaf bearing "NYU" – an abbreviation for New York University. Another slide featured a large celebration cake resembling a disco ball, topped with a graduation cap, and captioned "Congratulations Lola!"

The area was decorated with white, silver, and violet balloons, a variety of flowers – including roses, peonies, and orchids – and candles of different sizes and colors.

Mark Consuelos mirrored his wife's post, pouring out his affection for their daughter. Going by Kelly's Instagram stories, Mark even donned a hoodie featuring Lola wearing her cap and holding a diploma in one hand.

It seems like just yesterday when Lola graduated from high school. When she completed her senior year in 2019, her loving mother, Kelly, shared a family photo with Lola at the center, when she was just 17.

As far as what her life consists of outside of her studies, the NYU alumna has been embarking on a music career. In 2022, she released her debut single, "Paranoia Silverlining," and just days before her university graduation, she hinted at the then-upcoming release of a new music project.
