British TV Star David Potts Shows Off His Body After Losing 4 Stone, Sparking Fans' Discussion

The reality star stunned his followers with a before-and-after photo, flaunting his jaw-dropping body overhaul and vowing to lose even more.

TV favourite David Potts has dropped a shocking four stone — and fans can't believe their eyes. The exuberant "Ibiza Weekender" star left followers gasping as he unveiled his dramatic transformation on Instagram on Sunday, 1 March, flaunting a side-by-side snap of his former self and his now trim, sculpted figure.

"4 STONE DOWN BABY 💅🏼," Potts declared triumphantly in his caption. "I'm gunna be dodging grids soon."

Despite juggling a hectic schedule, the 32-year-old said he's managed to stick to the basics. "For anyone wondering how I'm doing it. It's literally eating healthier and exercising!"

Tagging his personal trainer Gabriel Floyd, the beloved reality star shared how grateful he was for the support, adding, "I know it's not always about the scales. Even seeing these pictures just blow me away like… I'm getting snatched 🤣."

And he's not stopping here — Potts revealed he's aiming to shed six more stone, writing, "Ps. 6 stone to go 🙏🏼💪🏼."

Just days later, he kept the celebration going, posting a playful video captioned, "When I get in the scales and I've lost 2 pounds." The reaction was instant. The comments section exploded with adoration and awe

"Obsessed 😍😍😍😍," one gushed. "Wow!!!! You are absolutely smashing it!! Soooooo proud of you baby!!!!!! 😍😍🤍🤍," another raved. "Brilliant, well done!👏👏," a third praised.

Not only did Potts' slimmer figure turn heads — so did his unexpected outfit choice. Known for his signature leg-baring shorts, the reality star appeared wearing trousers in the clip, leaving fans in stitches.

"Nice to see you in trousers 😂well done you , 🙌," one person quipped. "Don't be disappearing on us David! What's with the covered legs!?!" another joked.

"Didn't recognise you with the pants," a third teased. "Better with trousers on 👏," someone else added.

As readers may recall, this isn't the first time Potts has turned heads with his shrinking frame. Earlier this year, the reality star made headlines after revealing he had already lost two and a half stone.

But while he unveiled his body transformation, some rushed to praise the progress, while others began questioning just how he did it.

The "Celebrity Big Brother" winner sent social media into meltdown on Sunday, 4 January, when he posted a side-by-side comparison of himself before and after his first weight drop — and the results were impossible to ignore.

"OMG I'M SNATCHED! 2.5 stone down 💅🏼," he gushed in the caption.

Potts, never one to hold back, opened up about just how hard it had been to stay committed — especially over the festive season.

"Being on a weightloss journey over Christmas is hard enough, especially when you throw panto in the mix," he wrote. "But I'm so proud of myself for putting in the hard work. And it's paying off."

He wasn't shy about giving credit where it's due, thanking his personal trainer, Floyd, and shouting out Nuffield Health Bolton for keeping him motivated.

"You're amazing and I can't thank you enough! And @nuffieldhealth_bolton for supplying the vibes daily 🤍" he added.

And in classic Potts fashion, he ended the update with a cheeky jab:

"Just another 7.5 stone to go haha 🤣💪🏼."

Within minutes, the post was flooded with praise.

"I didn't recognise you! Well done you and over Xmas too!! 😍," one stunned fan wrote. "Omg, you look amazing! 🙌" another chimed in. "Well done you look amazing. Like a different person, hard work is paying off 👏👏👏," a third added, echoing the applause that poured in.

But as the comments poured in, so did the questions.

While many cheered him on, others were quick to question how he did it — and whether weight loss injections played a role.

"Hi did you do the injection as well like Ellie? You look fantastic," one fan asked.

"Did you take the weight loss jab?" another wrote, adding, "Good on you for losing the weight […] it's not easy but getting the results makes it all worth it :)."

Some, however, weren't quite so supportive.

"Don't do the injections, you'll start looking weird xx," one warned. "Just don't go too extreme. Stay fit and healthy," another advised, before a third added bluntly, "Miss the old David 🥲😂."

This isn't the first time Potts has wowed fans with his shrinking frame. Almost exactly two years earlier, in January 2024, he posted another major milestone.

"Another stone bites the dust 💪🏻 officially 3 stone down ahhhhh! Just another 7 to go 🤣 SLAY!" he wrote at the time.

Back then, he revealed that his routine involved working out six days a week, eating just 1,700 calories, and enjoying a full cheat day once a week.

"It seems to be working for me," he told fans, before uploading workout videos that tracked his gym grind — until they suddenly stopped just weeks before his "Celebrity Big Brother" debut.

Months after his victory on the show, Potts hinted that he was still serious about shedding the pounds — and even joked about taking his transformation to the extreme.

"I like putting myself into a position where it's out of my comfort zone," he told Closer that June. "Like when I did Karaoke Club, and then CBB again was out of my comfort zone. I'd be awful in the I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle – I would actually be the worst person that ever went on – but great TV for everyone. I'd go in for the weight loss!"

Fast forward to now, and the podcast host appears to have picked up right where he left off — 2.5 stone lighter, and full of swagger.
