Many of her celebrity friends spent the Irish holiday partying but the diligent songstress Mariah Carey decided to spend the day recording in the studio.

She took to her Instagram to document her day to her 6.6 million followers as she posted a stunning picture of herself.

In the holiday spirit, Mariah was seen dressed in a body-hugging green dress that exposed her busty chest.

Her blonde hair was packed in a smooth ponytail with some strands left to graze the front of her face. She accessorized with sparkling silver bracelets and silver hoop earrings to match the colors of her nail paint.

The ‘All I Want For Christmas’ Crooner had studio headsets on as she stood in front of the microphone to release her sonorous voice.
