Carrie Underwood shares a rare family photo of her two sisters as she proudly supports them

Singer Carrie Underwood loves her sisters and she’s not afraid to show them off on social media.

Carrie Underwood has always been a family person and she showed off that side of her as she shared an adorable picture of her two sisters last week.

In the midst of the ongoing teachers strike in the state of Oklahoma, her home state, Carrie took some time out to shout out to her sister’s who are also teachers there. The ‘Jesus Take The Wheel’ crooner shares a sweet but rare photo of her sisters taking part in the teachers strike on her various social media accounts.

In the photo, Carrie’s sisters, Shanna and Stephanie, were seen carrying a sign that read, ‘Hey teacher, we love our kids! Let’s stay strong and fight for our kids! With a picture of actor Ryan Gosling making a fist while protesting outside the Oklahoma State Capitol building.

Their proud famous sister captioned the post:

The lovely post garnered over 6,000 favorites on Twitter and several comments appraising the brave sisters.

Teachers in Oklahoma are striking because of the lack of funds for basic needs such as textbooks and supplies and the government’s lack of concern for issues such as too-large class sizes.

Carrie has a very soft spot for people in the teaching profession as she revealed back in 2009 that her mother was a teacher when she appeared in the ‘Behind Every Famous Person is a Fabulous Teacher’ campaign.

This comes after Carrie announced that she’s returning back to the public eye after months of staying under the radar after suffering a fatal injury when she fell on her face outside her home.

She received over 40 stitches on her face and broke her wrist but it seems Carrie is all healed up as she’s ready to return to work.
