Reba McEntire, 63, shows off cleavage as she dazzles in her 'scandalous' red dress
Many people make history and become known for their achievements, but only the best of the best are able to see their names up in lights.
Reba McEntire, the legend of country music, recently took a trip to the past by hosting the 2018 Academy Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 15, 2018, wearing a very familiar dress.
The 63-year-old slipped on a sheer red dress that she previously wore in 1993 at the CMA Awards. Now, 25 years later, she repeated her performance by singing Does He Love You, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Much like in 1993, when she sang with Linda Davis, she didn't step on stage alone. Her daughter-in-law, Kelly Clarkson, who is married to the country singer's stepson, Brandon Blackstock, stood by her side.
McEntire was chosen to host the ceremony after Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, who had the honor to do so in the previous year. But the singer caused quite some controversy.
According to the source, McEntire showed up wearing red slippers, which she flashed to the cameras by slightly lifting her dress, and criticized the lack of female names among the nominees for the Entertainer Of The Year award.
The 63-year-old compared the situation to a 'singles night at the Holiday Inn,' and teased the organization by saying that they finally figured out that a woman was able to do a better job at hosting the event than two men.
As reported by the Daily Mail, McEntire praised her daughter-in-law's voice, claiming that she had a great talent and a wide range of musical notes in her. Plus, she added that it was an honor to share the stage with Clarkson.
The two have sung together on a couple of different occasions, and the country legend has already shown interest in going on tour with Clarkson.
