Katie Holmes posts a sweet photo of daughter Suri as she celebrates her 12th birthday

Pre-teen Suri Cruise, daughter of award-winning actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, is already a fashion icon in her own right. She just turned 12 years old.

On April 18, 2018, Katie Holmes shared a photo with her 1.3 million Instagram followers, of Suri wearing a birthday crown. The post received more than 22,000 likes in less than an hour.

As reported by Hollywood Life, Suri is the 'perfect mix' of her famous parents, and Holmes has been treating Suri with trips and new adventures.

On December 16, 2017, the mother-and-daughter duo was spotted at a basketball game at Madison Square Garden to watch the New York Knicks beat the Oklahoma City Thunders 111-96.

They were also spotted at the NYC iHeartRadio Jingle Ball, were Suri got to introduce her favorite singer, Taylor Swift, to the crowd.

Earlier that year, Suri looked stylish in a pink dress and bow when she attended the Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen with her mother.

Unfortunately, Suri hasn't had contact with her father since 2013, even though Cruise shares custody with Holmes. Hollywood Life reported that Scientology was the reason for Cruise's detachment.

A source close to the couple told Hollywood Life that Holmes 'would be thrilled to see Tom leave' the church, but feels that he is 'in way too deep.'

Holmes' Instagram followers rushed to the comment section to wish young Suri a happy birthday. An Instagram user known only as Mmmmmom, said that her daughter Mia's birthday is April 17th.

She always remembers Suri's birthday and 'pray for [her] every year. Kelly said that Suri shares a birth date with her husband, Steven.

Chrysta Cerry Airine hoped that Suri's wishes come true, and she hopes that 'God gives [Suri] a reason to smile every day,' while MochaLoctay remarked that Suri takes after her mother.
