Melissa McCarthy cuts a chic body in a bird-patterned suit at the red carpet with hubby Ben Falcone

AmoMama has been following up on Melissa McCarthy’s career lately and her diet. As The Daily Mail reports, the comedian is promoting her new comedy Life of the Party and she looks better than ever!

47-year-old Melissa McCarthy was joined by her husband Ben Falcone on a promotional tour of her new comedy Life of the Party, and they looked as adorable as always together. The star wore a white bird-printed suit for her walk down the red carpet at CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday night. The two are the co-creators of the comedy - a story that follows a recently divorced, middle-aged mother who decides to return to college. The film which features McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Debby Ryan, Julie Bowen, and Pacific Rim's Adria Arjona has pop star Christina Aguilera makes a brief cameo.

McCarthy spoke highly of her husband - who sat on the director’s chair for the film - in an interview with ET Canada. 'He is exceptionally calm. He's a super smart, funny guy and we love being here.' The two have been married since 2005 and they always seem to have the best time in each other’s company.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres about the message on the film, McCarthy said it was positive and urged everyone to reach for their dreams at whatever age.

'It's really sweet and hopeful. I've always loved that concept of like it's never too late to do anything. It's never too late to change and accomplish anything.'

The comedian also talked about working alongside her husband in various projects including her make-out scene with co-star Luke Benward was shot on her 11th wedding anniversary. 'Literally on the day, Ben kept weirdly yelling things like "can you grab his butt in the next take?" And I was like "yes, professionally speaking, I can."
