Kim Fields, 48, commands attention in white dress & tanned body, proving she's aging in reverse

- Kim Fields has been in the entertainment industry for over 40 years, and now that she’s close to her fifties, the actress and singer looks better than ever.

- She’s the daughter of a famous director and the sister of a famous actress, proving just how much talent runs in the family.

AmoMama was lurking around Kim Fields’ Instagram account to see what the former ‘Real Housewife of Atlanta’ has been up to these days and we stumbled with a recent photo she shared looking up to 20 years younger in a white dress.

Kim Fields is better known for her roles as Dorothy ‘Tootie’ Ramsey on the NBC sitcom ‘The Facts of Life,’ and as Regine Hunter on the Fox sitcom ‘Living Single.’

She has also made appearances in Tyler Perry’s ‘Meet The Browns’ and ‘House of Payne’ where besides acting, she also tried her directing abilities, following her mother’s example; Kim’s mom, Chip Fields, is an actress, director, producer and singer that’s famous for her portrayal of Lynetta Gordon in the sitcom ‘Good Times.’

Fields, 48, recently released her first book, a memoir called ‘Blessed Life,’ where she recalls her journey from Harlem to Hollywood, as she started making commercials and taking small roles to appearing on VH1’s reality show and also ‘Dancing with the Stars.’

Speaking to Essence about her book and what she has to offer the public on it about her life, she said:

‘There are certain things that are a part of the Harlem DNA: culture, tenacity, a great deal of creativity and hustle. All of that motivated my mother as a single, teenage parent and she intentionally passed it down to me. There’s something wonderful about the history of Harlem that truly embraces and celebrates its rich history.’

Kim touches not only her professional career in the book, but also her first failed marriage, motherhood, love and the struggles she has encountered along the way, and she revealed why exactly she decided to share her story after so much time in the spotlight.

She said:

‘It was getting to that 40th anniversary mark and I began feeling like there was a lot to talk about. From my childhood and commercials to TV shows and the first marriage, the divorce and dark period, it just seemed like there was a whole lot to start shaping and talking about.’

The star is still not ready to say goodbye to the industry, as she stated that there’s a lot she wants to do in acting, directing and producing, and despite being so long under the spotlight, she’s still looking as amazing as ever.

She recently shared a photo alongside Bindi Irwin, daughter of the famous Steve Irwin and with whom she shared on ‘DWTS,’ and we have to say Kim looks amazing in a white dress as she smiles brightly with the young lady.

Kim took the chance to congratulate Bindi on the fact that her dad received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she expressed how glad she was for his family.

We’re glad too that Kim Fields is still looking beautiful and that she’s gonna be around in the entertainment industry gifting us with her talent for some more.
