Country star Thomas Rhett shares surprising ambition with his fans

Thomas Rhett is one of the most successful country music singers, but he may be about to launch his career in a new direction, reported Popculture.com.

The singer has been actively promoting his new album "Life Changes", and he has confessed that he would like to get in front of a camera in the near future.

Rhett, 28, has appeared on a few TV shows as a guest star, and the experience seems to have sparked off his ambition to try his hand at acting, or perhaps following in the footsteps of fellow country star Blake Shelton and hosting a talent contest or a music show.

"My kids love to come on the road. It's hilarious when you're on the bus and you're tucking one child in and reading a book to the other at 8.30."

Rhett released 'Life Changes' in 2017, and is currently working on his new album. He has been touring and taking his family on the road with him. He is married to Lauren Akins, an Instagram celebrity with over 1.6 million followers. They married in 2012 and have two daughters, Willa Gray and Ada James.

Rhett and Atkins adopted Willa from Uganda, and Ada was born a few months later. The singer confesses that the change in his life was overwhelming.

Rhett's new album will be about the transformation in his life, and his growth as an artist and a family man. He hopes that the new directions he is taking his career into will allow him to express his creativity in a new way.

This will be Rhett's fourth album, and his first three - It Goes Like This, Tangled Up, and Life Changes - produced twelve hits on the Hot Country and Country Airplay charts; and nine went all the way to No. 1.
