Miranda Lambert's sweet new photo with mom and granny thrills fans
The Grammy Award-winning country music star and singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert posted a sweet picture on Instagram to honor the most beloved women of her life.
Miranda paid tribute to her mother and grandmother with a beautiful photograph published on her Instagram where the three generations pose together. What a beautiful way to give them a message full of love, as reported Pop Culture.
In the picture, Miranda appears right next to her beloved grandmother Wanda, after who she named her 1954 Airstream trailer ‘Wanda the Wanderer’. The trailer has her own Twitter account, is traveling across the country.
The Airstream will give fans a chance to listen to the new album, have a few drinks and hang out where the Grammy winner has actually written songs. The Airstream will make stops in seven cities across the country on the Platinum Across America tour.
Wanda the Wanderer was originally designed to have a bar, a sound system, and an air conditioner. The silver bullet trailer is still fairly true to that original plan, save for the 6-foot-wide, 3-foot-tall aluminum crown affixed on top.
Miranda Lambert’s current tour is called “Livin’ Like Hippies,” and the country music superstar is staying true to the name while she’s on the road. Much more now that ‘Wanda the Wanderer’ just got a beautiful hippie-chic makeover inspired by the tour.
Sisters Amie and Jolie Sikes, aka the Junk Gypsies, are responsible for the transformation. The Airstream has been such a popular hangout for the past eight years that it was pretty torn up by the time the sisters got a hold of it for an update.
Miranda has opened up several times on social media about how special her grandmother is to her. About a year ago she posted a touching picture of their manicures that warmed the hearts of her fans and followers.
She went to talk about a gift from Wanda that has become important to them both. “I wear the first ring she gave me to every important thing I do,” she wrote.
“It brings me strength and luck. But most of all it brings me pride. That she passed it on to me on my 30th birthday. She said she saw me wearing it on the ACM Awards and it made her smile. That makes ME smile.” She added.
