J-Lo performs gangster-style dance in unusual outfit at Billboard Music Awards
Jennifer Lopez debuts her new song “Dinero” in Las Vegas at the Billboard Music Awards
On the 20th of May 2018, the audience at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas were treated to a live performance of Jennifer Lopez' brand new song 'Dinero.'
The song had been released just three days before the Awards Gala, and had been crafted in conjunction with DJ Khaled, reported People.com.
Lopez and the rapper presented the song for its first live television transmission. The setting for the song was unusual and cinematic.
On one part of the stage, DJ Khaled sat on a couch surrounded by piles of money, watching the 2010 remake of the iconic movie Wall Street. On a separate level, Lopez performed surrounded by a troop of dancers dressed like gangsters from the 40s.
Lopez, 48, wore a glittering bustier and long white wide-legged trousers. The look was accessorized with a white blazer and a jaunty white fedora.
“Dinero” is Lopez' second most recent release, following the hit single, “El Anillo,” which was released three weeks ago. The song refers to an engagement ring, and 'Dinero' means money.
Lopez will continue with her sold-out Las Vegas shows at the Planet Hollywood Resort And Casino until September 2018.
Apart from her work in the movies and her singing career, Lopez also starred as Detective Harlee Santos in NBC's crime drama series Shades of Blue in which she plays a single mother and police detective.
Lopez is a devoted mother of two and is involved in a romantic relationship with Alex Rodriguez, a former New York Yankees slugger.
