Meghan laughed at husband Harry's interrupted speech: 'That bee really got me!'

Prince Harry's speech during a gathering at Buckingham place to celebrate Prince Charles' birthday was interrupted by a rogue bumblebee.

The funny episode took place on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Although Charles' birthday is not until November 4, the Royal Family will be extending the celebrations throughout the year.

Prince Charles will be turning 70 this year, and his honor, Prince Harry prepared a heartfelt speech for his father, but the bee's appearance caused everyone to laugh, including Meghan Markle. The video has become a hit online.

Harry, who recently married Meghan Markle in one of the most anticipated events of 2018, started his speech by thanking his father for all the good that he has done, whether to improve someone's life or save endangered species.

The newly appointed Duke of Sussex went on to say that he and his older brother, Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, were inspired by his actions and learned quite a lot from him.

At one point, while Prince Harry was talking, a bumblebee started floating around his ear. He swatted it and tried to continue his speech, but was forced to interrupt it to apologize, adding: 'that bee really got me.'

His words were received with a wave of laughter from the crowd. Meghan covered her mouth to laugh and traded looks with a smiley Camilla Parker Bowles; even Prince Charles cracked a smile.

But the small distraction didn't stop Prince Harry from finishing his speech. Although Charles asked  Harry not to make the day about him, the Duke of Sussex still went on and requested everyone to thank his father for his 50 years of work.

Prince Harry also explained that William and Kate Middleton weren't able to attend the birthday gathering due to their presence at Manchester Cathedral, where they paid tribute to the Manchester Arena bombing victims.
