Princess Love looks radiant while holding newborn daughter in recent picture

Ray J and his wife Princess Love welcomed their first born baby daughter just last week, announcing their baby's arrival on Instagram last Wednesday, May 22.

The first-time parents have been so excited for this moment, sharing bits and pieces of their pregnancy journey on social media. Now that they are back home, Princess Love is back to looking gorgeous as ever, carrying their baby girl Melody as she donned a face full of bronze makeup.

The parents revealed that they have named their first child Melody Love Norwood, who was born weighing seven pounds. While they were still at the hospital, Ray J also made sure to show appreciation to his very strong wife, who had endured an entire day of labor before giving birth to their daughter.

The singer, who's real name is William Ray Norwood Jr., got exactly what he prayed for: a baby girl. When he announced that his wife was pregnant, he shared

"I want to have a little girl first because it's like daddy's little girl. A little boy is probably going to be a little aggressive so I just want to be able to have some peace first. But whatever God blesses us with, I'm happy"

"My prayers were finally answered September 15th, 2017 the day I found out I was pregnant. From that point on I knew this little life depended on me to nurture and protect and I’ve been doing everything in my power to make sure my baby girl is safe and growing healthy. Ray J, 37, and Princess Love, 33, tied the knot in 2016 after their on-and-off relationship on the reality TV series "Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood" since 2014. Now that they have welcomed their baby girl into their lives, the two have shifted perspective and are now working towards being the best parents.
