Country singer shares heartfelt message to wife days after losing baby
Walker Hayes, the famous country singer, finally broke the silence since he and his wife, Laney Hayes, lost their daughter, Oakleigh Klover Hayes.
The father-of-six was supposed to attend the CMT Music Awards on June 6, 2018. He was nominated and scheduled to perform but didn't show up; instead, later in the evening, the artist took to Instagram to share the bad news.
Ever since the grim announcement, Walker has been keeping himself away from the spotlight, but made an exception on Tuesday, June 12. The singer used his Instagram page to pay a small tribute to his wife.
The black and white photo shared by Walker depicts Laney leaning against a stroller with a very wide smile on her face as she looks directly at the camera.
Some of their children can be found in the picture as well, which makes the snap so much more special. In fact, Walker claimed that this was his favorite photo of Laney.
Along with the picture, the country singer wrote a sweet message to his wife and expressed his desire to see their children have a relationship like the one their parents do.
"I love this picture of Laney the most...I hope all of our kids find someone they could stare at forever...and feel like I do when I look at this. Happy 14th anniversary to us."

But as romantic as the post was, the Hayes family is in terrible pain, grieving for little Oakleigh. Back in November 2017, during the CMA Awards,Walker revealed that they were expecting their seventh baby.
Losing a child is a parent's number one fear, and having to go through it is unbearably painful. It takes great strength to be able to move forward, which is why Walker has decided to take some time off.
His upcoming gigs have all been canceled and, so far, no one knows when will the country singer perform again. If you wish to learn more about the Hayes family, please consider following us on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.
