Alex Rodriguez responds to Jennifer Lopez's comments on marriage

Former baseball player Alex Rodriguez took his time to respond to what his girlfriend Jennifer Lopez said about their relationship and wedding plans.

During an interview Lopez had with Good Morning America, she confessed that her song El Anillo, which in English means The Ring, was not a wedding message to her boyfriend.

The singer and actress revealed that they had to take their time as she had made several mistakes in her previous relationships. Lopez pointed out that she and Rodriguez were grown-up and mature adults who would do things at their own pace.

She ended up saying that their life was wonderful the way it was. The couple doesn’t need anything else as they had their hands full with their children and work.

After that, many people wondered how Rodriguez would react. In a recent interview he had with ET Online, he confessed that the couple was focused on raising their children.

Everything suggests the couple knows what their priorities are and they would do their very best to take care of Lopez’ children, Emme and Max, and Rodriguez daughters, Natasha and Ella.

It is important to mention that Emme and Max were born when Lopez was married to singer and actor Marc Anthony and that Natasha and Ella were born when Rodriguez and Cynthia Scurtis were married.

Apart from raising their children, Lopez and Rodriguez are busy in their own professional lives. In the businessman case, he signed up for a shooting a new season of Shark Tank, where he will try to invest in some entrepreneurs’ companies.

Lopez, on the other hand, is focused on promoting her music. Her latest hits are El Anillo, that has more than 100 million views on YouTube, and Dinero (Money), that just reached the 32 million views mark.

The couple’s statements set clear what are their plans for the future. However, they never said that they would not marry. Only time will tell.
