Tika Sumpter's fiance melts hearts with picture of their rarely-seen little daughter

He’s been the subject of much speculation and contempt but Tika Sumpter’s husband Nicholas James proves he’s an honorable man who loves his daughter as much as his wife.

Nicholas James was a doting dad to his 20-month-old daughter Ella in a photo he recently shared. The proud father gushed about how the little girl has changed his life and the joys of being a father to her. In his caption he described his “amazing little being” as his “proudest and most life-changing accomplishment in life” and added,

“Watching her heart grow is my greatest contribution to this world. I thank my father for instilling me with love, compassion, strength, and morale.”

Little Ella, dressed in a denim hoodie and green pants was facing a garden of white flowers in the photo her father shared. Her curly locks, no doubt her mother’s contribution to her genetic make-up, blended well with the greenery surrounding her.

Nicholas and Tika welcomed their first child months before they got engaged. They kept Ella’s paternity a secret at first to keep Nicholas away from scrutiny. And when they finally revealed he was Ella’s father, people in social media criticized Tika for forging a relationship with a white man. But all those doubts didn’t last long after Nicholas proved he was a worthy man as he constantly reminded Tika’s fans of how much he loved her and his family in several posts.

On Mother’s Day, Nicholas shared a photo of the couple having lunch by the sea and penned a loving message for his “queen.” He wrote,

“Happy Mother’s Day to my queen! Thank you for birthing our gorgeous girl. You’re the strongest woman I know and I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to teach our little gift from God. Love you! @tikasumpter”

In a post last December, he also revealed a precious moment with his daughter as they shared a father-daughter walk along the neighborhood hand in hand. In his caption, he declared,

“I love my life! #daddysgirl#prouddad”

In June 2017, he marked Tika’s birthday with a special post where the couple twinned in matching denim tops. He gushed about his beautiful wife in his lengthy message that read,

“Happy Birthday to my best friend, my soul mate, my partner in crime, the person who always dresses like me by accident, my fiancé...soon to be wife, my life partner, my lover @tikasumpter im so proud of you for all of your accomplishments, your drive, your charisma, your beautiful heart, and most importantly the mother you have become to our beautiful child. Here's to a lifetime of love and happiness!”

Nicholas has proven time and again that he can’t be faulted for loving Tika. The man is a true gentleman and father who places his family in high regard.
