When and where Kate Spade's funeral will be held

The deceased 55-year-old fashion entrepreneur Kate Spade’s last rites will take place on the afternoon of June 21.

Kansas City Star recently revealed the details of the funeral mass of the Kate Spade, the style icon who committed suicide on June 5.

The mass will take place on June 21 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemption Church at 3 pm local time.

The church, located in Kansas, Missouri, holds a special significance for the deceased style icon’s family. According to Spade’s father Frank Brosnahan, Spade’s grandparents were married at the same church.

The family has requested that well-wishers at the mass make donations to the American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to the animal shelter Wayside Waifs.

Dignity Memorial published an obituary of Spade, in which her virtues as a mother, wife, friend and animal lover were remembered.

The obituary mentioned that Spade was an extremely dependable person for members of her family and her friends, especially during troubling times.

It was highlighted that Spade had a charming sense of humor and her contagious laughter was unforgettable to her acquaintances.

Empathy and kindness were two other qualities attributed to the fashion tycoon. The obituary emphasized Spade’s love for animals and her devotion and kindness towards her family members.

Spade and her husband Andy had established the Kate Spade brand n 1993, and Spade’s flair for designing eventually earned her success and recognition across the globe.

While speaking to People after his wife’s death, Andy revealed that she had been suffering from depression for years.

He remembered her as the kindest person he knew and expressed that her tragic death has been devastating for him and their daughter.

Describing Spade as his best friend for over 35 years, Andy added that he was still unable to imagine how he and their child would move on with their lives without her.

The obituary asserted that everyone who knew Spade or was inspired by her would continue to miss her dearly.
