Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia make rare public appearance together
TV show host Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia De Rossi appeared together in public for the first time in almost a year.
A few photos of the event was shared on General Public's Instagram account and shows the famous couple mingling with the crowd.
DeGeneres wore a white shirt and striped jacket with a black tie for the event, while De Rossi chose an all-white shirt-and-pants ensemble.
The event was also attended by A-listers such as John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen. To learn more, follow our official Twitter page, at AmoMama USA.
DeGeneres shared an adorable video to her Instagram account as well. She can be seen sweeping the floor for De Rossi, explaining in the caption it is for 'the woman who sweeps me off my feet.'
This was the first public appearance the couple embarked on together, since attending the People Choice Awards back in August last year.
As reported by Pop Culture, the art celebration took place at Restoration Hardware in Los Angeles last week Wednesday.

De Rossi resigned from acting last year, putting her career of more than 20 years and 36 acting credits behind her to pursue other business ventures.
She is also the founder of General Public, which is more than just an art curation and publishing company, it's her passion project.
One of the art pieces on display was titled Hoboken, by Paul van Rij, with an instruction next to the painting with the words 'please touch the art.'
Another artwork that visitors were encouraged to touch was titled Barcelona by Kali Sanders. The description plaque confirmed that it was a synograph on canvas.

In the caption field of the Instagram post featuring the art, De Rossi also used the hashtag 'synograph' and 'art you can touch.'
DeGeneres was there to show her support. The couple started dating in 2004 and tied knot four years later when the ban on same-sex marriages was overturned.
They will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on August 16.
