Willow Smith, the only daughter of Will, turned 18 on October 31 and the father-of-three took to Instagram to wish his baby girl a happy birthday. The “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” alum shared a clip from an interview.

Asked about his growth and evolution as a father, Will explained that the experience improved with time. The clip appears to have been edited to include other photos and recordings of the birthday girl and her dad in various fun poses.

Will continued:

“Willow has been the most challenging, most beautiful relationship I’ve ever had in my life. Willow got the best of me that any human being has ever gotten, and it is just a beautiful thing to watch her develop and know how to love her better than I’ve ever been able to love anybody.”

The proud dad captioned the video, “Happy 18th Bday, My Bean!!”

Uploaded on Willow’s birthday, the video already has over 4 million views and comments where fans wished the teenager a happy birthday and commended the “Collateral Beauty” actor for being a good dad.

BIRTHDAY WISHES FROM THE FAMILY

Other members of the Smith clan also posted beautiful birthday tributes on social media. Mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith incorporated the Halloween holiday to create a full moon video and photoshopped Willow as a flying witch.

“Happy Willoween!” the Red Table Talk host wrote. “My baby girl is 18! If there are more lifetimes than this one... I pray I can be your mother again and again for every lifetime to come. You bring my heart so much joy. Mommie loves you. Happy Birthday, @willowsmith.”

Willow’s brother, Jaden, chose to celebrate his sister a day before her birthday. He posted a black and white image of the “Whip My Hair” singer performing before an audience and said:

“Willows birthday is coming up I’m gonna do the post now I love you. Ps this is a real photograph.”

Trey Smith, Will’s first son with his ex-wife, Sheree Zampino, also gave a shout-out to his half-sister with a throwback image.

“That is so My Girl Right There,” gushed Trey. “I Love You More than you will Ever Know. HAVE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE!!! HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY BABY SISTER!!!!! @willowsmith”

WILLOW'S STRUGGLES

The birthday girl, who released a new album towards the end of 2017, has remained vocal about the struggles of growing up famous. In an interview with Girl Gaze, Willow confessed:

“Growing up and trying to figure out your life… while people feel like they have some sort of entitlement to know what’s going on, is absolutely, excruciatingly terrible— and the only way to get over it, is to go into it.”

Thankfully, she seems to have a supportive family, especially her mom, with whom she has been discussing real life issues on the “Red Table Talk.” Earlier this year, Willow opened up on the show about her body insecurities.

Even though her father told her not being curvy would make men notice her mind before her body, she still sometimes felt undesirable.

WILL SMITH'S CONFESSION

Speaking of confessions, it was Will’s turn recently on his wife’s show when he shared details of the low point in he and Jada’s 24-year marriage.

“We broke up within our marriage and got back together again. We had to rebuild with new rules and something way, completely different.”
