Nick Cannon shares video of son Golden, 1, riding in toy car in black turban & matching jacket
Nick Cannon’s youngest son, Golden, seems to have inherited his dad’s coolness and love for cars, turbans and hip-hop music. The adorable little boy charmed fans all over Instagram with a video that Nick shared of him.
Golden Cannon celebrated his 1st birthday a few months ago with a birthday bash worthy of a king. His African-royalty themed party had the adorable boy wearing a crown, and even after the celebration, Golden is still treated like a king by his parents.
At such a young age, Golden is learning how to drive with his silver toy car in a recent video posted by Cannon on Instagram. Listening to some hip-hop while bopping his head to eh music, and wearing a black leather jacket and a matching turban, Golden looks like his father’s mini-me.
“Golden is lit!!! Stunting like His Daddy!!!” Cannon captioned the video, which has written “My Golden Boy” on it.
Fans couldn’t contain their excitement and filled Nick’s comment section gushing about his son: “Moving in a silver car on a brown street, all while making Golden moves. Smooth Prince Golden, real smooth,” wrote one user. Another added, “Lil King's vibe is great, and it made me smile,” and a third one said “Awww so sweet.. Golden. Looking like his Daddy.”
A PLANNED BABY
Golden is the son of Nick and his ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell, with whom the actor still maintains a friendly relationship.
He revealed that the baby was planned and that he knew Bell was going to be a good mom because they grew up together.
“I wanted to make sure it was someone who was solid, spiritual and had the same views," he revealed in an interview at Power 106. "She's been in my life. Our families grew up in the same projects together in San Diego. So there's a lot of substance there."
FAMOUS SIBLINGS
The 1-year-old is the youngest brother of Monroe and Moroccan, Nick’s twins with ex-wife Mariah Carey. And they love the boy. They get to spend the holidays together, and when Golden took his first steps, the twins were behind him in case he was about to fall.
“It’s cool to see 7-year-olds approaching a 1½-year-old and how they’re taking on that big brother and sister role,” Cannon told People.
Monroe and Moroccan were at Golden’s birthday too, and according to their dad, the kids have an incredible bond as siblings.
Like his brother and sister, Golden has acquired a taste for the camera. He was the main model on the photo shoot to promote his mother’s new clothing line “Mama Gang,” and he looked comfortable posing alongside Bell, smiling at all the right moments and staring straight at the camera.
The little boy keeps on charming people on social media with his adorable smile and funny personality…like father, like son.
