Hudson then expressed that she had done her research. She invited her fans to join in on her "mission."
"I've spent my life time trying all kind of new things that are focused on health and wellness. Because I am on a mission right now to get back to my fighting weight :) and my strong body/mind back I want to bring you in on some of this journey."
The "Almost Famous" star stated her goals:
"MY GOAL: I will be shooting a film in the spring and I'm looking to shed 25lbs. I'd like to try new workouts and eat as healthy as I can. I wanna do all this and keep up milk production, raise my kids, work everyday, make time for my man, have girlfriend time and stay sane!"
Hudson gave birth to daughter Rani Rose on October 2. She and boyfriend Danny Fujikawa have been together over a year now and this is their first child.
Hudson also has her first son Ryder Russell, 14, with Chris Robinson. Her other son Bingham Hawn, six, is shared with ex-fiance Matt Bellamy.
In an Instagram post announcing Rani's birth, Hudson wrote:
“We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa. Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly. To name her after him is an honor."
A month later, the actress shared a photo of Rani donned in an adorable turban as she lay on a pink blanket. Hudson put a note saying "One Month" next to her.
Hudson put a simple caption to go along with the heartwarming picture. "#WhatAMonth!" was all she needed to say. We wish the actress all the best with achieving her health goals.
