Kim Porter's son Quincy Brown captures hearts in striped navy suit for Essence Magazine cover

After the unexpected passing of his mother, Quincy Brown is now moving forward with his life in the best way he knows: by focusing on work. The handsome star was recently featured on Essence Magazine, and he’s stealing hearts left and right with his looks.

Quincy Brown looks terrific in new pics from his Essence spread for the magazine’s December issue, and fans can’t have enough of him. In the pics, the 27-year-old actor and singer rocked three different outfits that enhanced his toned body and lean figure.

THE LOOKS

The first one is a striped navy suit by J. Lindeberg that he paired with black shoes and an overcoat by Moschino. “The energy of the mind is the @essence of life,” he captioned one of the pics shared to Instagram with the fit.

The second one is a Todd Snyder green velvet suit with a white shirt underneath, paired with navy velvet shoes and some golden details, including an expensive looking watch. “Being the best is great, you’re the number one. Being unique is greater, you’re the ONLY one,” he added in the caption for this look.

And the last one is a deep purple Richard James luxury suit, paired with a black shirt and a bowtie. Quincy had his hair tied in a top bun and diamond earrings to complete all the looks. “Patience is not sitting and waiting; it is foreseeing,” he captioned the shot.

FANS’ REACTIONS

Fans took over his comment section to gush about his handsomeness, some of them remembering his mother, Kim Porter, in between compliments. “God bless ya’ Quincy. You are a handsome young man raised with some moral values. Kim did a good job,” wrote one user.

Another added, “You look exactly like your mom in this pic! Keep up the good work Quincy! She’s super proud,” and a third one said “I stan. Most handsome young African American in my eyes hands down.”

MOVING FORWARD

It’s been almost three weeks since Quincy’s mother, Kim Porter, was found dead in her Los Angeles home.

The actress and model had other two kids, twins Jessie and D’lila, from her relationship with P. Diddy. Quincy, her oldest son from a previous relationship, was adopted by Diddy when he was 4.

The entire family expressed their shock and sadness at the sudden passing of Porter on social media. Quincy shared a family pic three days after his mom’s death and said:

“I am broken…& the only thing that makes sense right now is that you were way too good for this silly world we live in. I love you so much, MOMMY.”

Then, after the emotional service, Quincy shared another beautiful pic. This time one where he and Kim were smiling brightly to the camera. “You showed me how to simply live life and be happy no matter the circumstances,” he wrote. “ So that’s exactly what I’m doing. I miss you & love you so much mommy.”

Brown is now getting ready for the new season of “Star,” where he gives life to Derek Jones. He’s also working on new music, and he told Essence that “There’s also a lot of new music coming soon. I’ve spent the past year recording as much as possible.”

Quincy Brown is a star on the rise, and for what he said, his mother would be proud of the way he’s dealing with such a sad situation.
