Diddy asks for prayers in emotional post almost 2 weeks after Kim Porter's funeral

It’s been almost a month since Kim Porter passed away, but her ex-boyfriend/father of her kids, Diddy, is still hurting. Despite doing his best to take on Porter’s responsibilities, the music mogul is crying out for help.

Some hours ago, Sean “Diddy” Combs took to Instagram with an SOS. The 49-year-old shared a text-based image that read:

“You’re about to be happier than you’ve ever been.”

EMOTIONAL PAIN

Diddy’s caption, however, was the actual cry for help. “Me talking to myself #manifestation #secondysecond THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD!!!” he began, adding:

“HELP ME. HELP ME. GOD PLS HELP ME!!! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME CAUSE MONEY CAN’T STOP THE PAIN!!! ONLY YOU CAN GOD. ONLY PRAYER CAN HELP ME GOD PLS HELP US!!! IF I DIDN’T NEED THE PRAYERS I WOULDN’T ASK. Prayer works. THANK YOU SO MUCH. THANK YOU. WE all WE GOT! YOU ARE ALL WE GOT!!! Love #TEAMLOVE”

Already, fans are trooping to the comments section with words of prayer and supplication for Diddy. “Prayers up for you and your family. HE has not left nor forsaken you,” wrote one Instagram user.

STEPPING UP

Diddy’s cry for help comes a few days after he gave the world a peek into his new “daddy slash mommy” life. The "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" rapper recorded himself taking his 11-year-old twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, back to school after their mother’s death.

A puffy-eyed Diddy announced:

“Today the journey begins. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. I'm now a part of the 6am crew. This is mommy/daddy, daddy/mommy checking in.

This daddy-mommy thing is beautiful. Love it. You just have to get up early in the morning, like real early.”

A FATHER'S PROMISE

The father-of-six had earlier promised Porter to take care of their children like she taught him to. While delivering an emotional eulogy at the late runway model’s funeral, Diddy declared:

“I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you. I will always take care of you.”

“To the girls especially, we about to enter some different type of times. I want you to be able to talk to me about everything, and I mean everything, and I mean everything,” he added.

Diddy and Porter had three children together: 20-year-old Christian and the twins. The Hip-Hop tycoon also helped raise Porter’s son from a previous relationship, Quincy. In addition, Diddy has two children --son Justin and daughter Chance -- with other women.

Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home on November 15. The cause of death remains unknown as it “was deferred pending additional tests.”
