Beyoncé stuns in green pantsuit at mom Tina Knowles' surprise birthday party

Her teeming fans call her Queen Bey, and Beyoncé looked every inch the regal queen in a green pantsuit she rocked at her mother’s surprise birthday party.

Tina Knowles Lawson turned 65 on Friday, January 4, and her husband, actor Richard Lawson marked the occasion with a series of activities, including a surprise party with friends and family.

Tina’s first daughter, Beyoncé was at the event, and like almost everything she does, managed to stand out. The “Formation” singer donned a metallic green pantsuit cinched at the waist with a brown belt.

In one of Tina’s Instagram posts from the event, she and her superstar daughter goofed around in photo-booth pictures. They accessorized with golden crowns and struck a few playful poses including one where they blew kisses at the camera.

BIRTHDAY SONG FROM A SUPERSTAR

In another video shared by the birthday girl, Beyoncé led the crowd in a rendition of the "Happy Birthday" chorus for Tina. The singer’s husband, Jay-Z also stood behind his wife as he joined in the singing.

Tina’s birthday celebrations began during the day on Friday when Richard surprised his wife with a “spa day” for her and her friends.

“My Birthday begins!!!!! 65 and proud of it!!! My Hubby surprised me! Thank you, baby, for my spa day with my friends. I love you,” Tina wrote alongside footage of herself and friends riding in a limo and sipping champagne as they headed for their spa appointment.

She was in for an even bigger surprise at night when she was led into a room filled with family and friends.

Tina gushed in yet another video shared from the event:

“Almost all of my close family and friends were in the room - for those of you who couldn't make it, you were there with me in spirit.”

The latest 65-year-old sizzled in a red pantsuit and a large black belt at the waist. She wore her hair down in soft waves and complemented her ensemble with several gold bracelets.

MANY REASONS TO BE HAPPY

Richard, 71, was also happy for more than one reason. When the time came for him to give a speech, the “Black Listed” actor was captured on video screaming excitedly:

"We pulled this [expletive] off! You know how difficult this is for Tina Knowles Lawson? Oh my God!"

Tina seemingly echoed her husband’s words in the caption where she wrote:

“I am almost impossible to fool so my wonderful hubby Richard did an amazing job of keeping this party a secret that’s major.”

FAMILY OVER EVERYTHING

Only last month, Tina herself celebrated Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z who turned a year older. She called him her “amazingly talented, super smart, gracious, classy, filled with swag son in law” and said she could not be happier to have him in her family.

Tina, no doubt, values her family greatly and has never missed an opportunity to praise Beyoncé or her second daughter, singer Solange. Last September, she shared a throwback photo of herself and Solange, pointing out their uncanny resemblance.
