RHOA: Eva Marcille almost ruins Porsha’s big announcement, accuses her of ‘character assassination’

Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille got in a fight right before the former announced that she was expecting a baby during the last episode of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

For the episode released on January 20, the ladies went on a trip to Tokyo, Japan, in what was supposed to be Eva’s bachelorette party. Things got a little heated when she brought up Porsha’s past behavior.

Eva started saying that she liked Porsha and that she felt like they were getting to know each other. However, Eva pointed out that when they were at Tanya Sam’s house, Porsha “out of nowhere” asked her if she was “shady.”

DIGGING INTO EVA AND PORSHA’S ALTERCATION

She considered that Porsha did so to “throw [her] on blast in front of every.” Eva added that she though they were friends and even labeled the act as “a character assassination.” Of course, Porsha quickly responded.

“A character assassination? Really? I don't know if it was that deep. If I notice something that you're doing and it's a pattern, and I bring it up to you, I don't expect you to be walking around hurt about it. You can bring it up to me, but don't act like I'm coming at you.”

After that, Porsha asked Eva to stop playing the victim on her because she was “a very nice person. I’m love and light as well,” finished the lady. Porsha didn’t let Eva’s altercation to ruin what she had prepared, though, and, with the help of NeNe Leakes, she told the rest of the “RHOA” ladies that she was pregnant.

REACTING TO THE EPISODE ON TWITTER

Soon after the episode ended, people took to Twitter to share their thoughts. Some of them wondered if the show producers edited the altercation scene as Eva had nothing to say when Porsha fought back.

Others pointed out that Eva shouldn’t have shaded Cynthia Bailey in front of Porsha because, when she is “fired up,” her mouth “runs like [diarrhea].” Another user made fun of an insult (emoji neck) that Eva told Porsha.

Speaking of Porsha, the way she announced her pregnancy to her co-stars was quite cheerful. After keeping it under the wraps for months due to her previous miscarriages, she asked the Japanese staff of the restaurant they were eating how to say “I’m pregnant” in Japanese.

ANNOUNCING HER PREGNANCY

After that, she told NeNe the plan (she already knew the big news) and, when they were all eating, NeNe entered the room banging on a noisy gong with Porsha following behind.

“Attention everyone. Porsha and I are going to play a little game,” NeNe told the women, giving the floor to Porsha who added, “I’m going to first teach y’all something to say in Japanese,” [sic] making the ladies repeat the phrase, “ninshin chuu.”

After all of the ladies asked what it meant, Porsha did the big reveal as she rubbed her belly screaming: “It means… I’m pregnant!”
