Ever since her ex-husband Jon Gosselin won the physical and sole legal custody of their son Collin on December 4, 2018, Kate Gosselin has been uncharacteristically quiet.
Now Kate has finally broken her social media silence on Instagram, but did not refer to her loss. Her post is all about her reaming sextuplet's science projects.

If fans were expecting Kate to open up about her pain over losing custody of son Collin, after her daughter Hannah chose to move in with her father, they were disappointed.
Kate posted an image of cut and pasted text and commented that the family is very busy with Science Fair projects.

Jon and Kate Gosselin rose to fame when their reality show about raising 8 children became one of the most watched in America. In 2009, the couple divorced, and the show was renamed "Kate Plus 8."
HANNAH CHOOSES TO LIVE WITH DAD
One of the 14-year-old sextuplets, Hannah, chose to move in with Jon early in 2018, although she kept in touch with her siblings and was photographed at family events.
KATE DIDN'T FIGHT FOR COLLIN
Jon Gosselin sued for custody of his son Collin, and though Kate contested, she and her lawyer didn’t show up at the court hearing.
Collin, who has special needs, had been placed by Kate at an inpatient school. When the Court granted Jon custody, he brought his son home to live with him, and his sister Hannah.
Jon revealed that sadly, neither he nor the two children in his care saw the rest of the family over the Christmas holidays.
KATE WITH LESS THAN 8
Kate and Jon Gosselin divorced in 2009, have since been disputing the custody of their 8 children: sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, and the twins Cara and Mady.
Kate had originally been granted custody of the 8 children, but on December 4, 2018, the Court granted Jon physical and sole legal custody of Collin.
Collin,14, hasn't lived at home with his mother and siblings since 2016. According to Kate, Collin has special needs and had been in a live-in facility near the family's Pennsylvania home.
