THE ANNOUNCEMENT
Andy, 50, first announced that he was expecting a baby via surrogate last December on an episode of “Watch What Happens Live.”
“Family means everything to me and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life,” Andy said. “And though it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.”
The TV personality parted ways with his boyfriend last year and has since not been romantically linked to anyone.
DOUBLE BABY SHOWER
On January 26, friends and loved ones surrounded Andy at a lavish baby shower in Beverly Hills, California. Days later, more celebrity friends like Kelly Ripa and Sarah Jessica Parker threw him another shower on the East Coast.
An insider previously told PEOPLE that Andy said he couldn’t wait to meet his son, and now that baby Benjamin is here, he couldn’t be happier.
Congratulations again, Andy Cohen.
