Gabrielle Union Warms Heart with New Picture of Little Kaavia Held by Dad in a Baby Carrier

Gabrielle Union is melting hearts across the internet with her recent picture of baby Kaavia strapped to her daddy’s chest in a baby carrier. As usual, fans could not get over the little girl’s facial expression.

NBA star Dwyane Wade is committed to being a hands-on dad to Kaavia James. Less than two weeks after showing off his baby carrier skills, his wife Union has shared a similar moment.

The actress took to Instagram on March 3 with a photo of Kaavia sitting pretty in a baby carrier strapped to Wade’s chest as the Miami Heat player posed with at least two other men visible in the shot.

Wade looked casual in a blue t-shirt, black hat, and sunglasses, accessorizing with a wristwatch and gold neckpiece.

The “Think Like a Man” actress told ET that their daughter “looks like dad” but has the “negotiating skills of mom.”

The proud dad and his other friends smiled at the camera, but it was Kaavia’s annoyed-slash-bored expression that stole the show. It even inspired Union’s caption.

“NOT on her watch!!! @kaaviajames Cc @dwyanewade Godfather @ud40 she wants all that smoke #shadybaby,” wrote the “LA’s Finest” actress.

Union, 46, was not the only one with something to say about Kaavia’s “no-nonsense” face. Instagram users trooped to the comment section gushing over the almost-four-month-old.

To most fans of the Union-Wade family, Kaavia’s expressions have become something to look forward to, and on her verified Instagram page (run by Union and Wade), the tot already has over half a million followers.

Recently, the “Think Like a Man” actress told ET that their daughter “looks like dad” but has the “negotiating skills of mom.”

"Baby is real. She is very real," Union joked. “She sees the camera, and she's like, 'Where's my agent? We haven't negotiated this picture.’”

Meanwhile, it was only days ago that Wade, 37, had social media drooling over a picture where he secured Kaavia in her baby carrier on his chest and posed inside a private plane.

We can expect to see more adorable father-daughter moments from Wade and his mini-me, like the video of their first dance shared to Instagram some days ago.

Union and Wade welcomed their baby girl on November 7, 2018, via surrogate due to the actress’s struggles with infertility. The couple also co-parents three sons from Wade’s previous relationships and a nephew the NBA star is raising.
