Toni Braxton Poses on Red Carpet with Son Who Was Born with Autism and Is Now a Signed Model

Toni Braxton showed off her handsome 16-year-old son Diezel at the red carpet premiere of the family’s hit show, ‘Braxton Family Values.’

R&B star Toni Braxton dazzled at the red carpet premiere of her family’s hit show, ‘Braxton Family Values’ on April 2, 2019, at the side of handsome young man.

Toni's plus-one was her son, Diezel, who is now 16, and seems to have inherited his mother's good looks.

TONI BRAXTON SHOWERED HER SON WITH KISSES

Toni embraced her son in front of the cameras, and heedless of his teenage embarrassment, showered him with kisses.

Toni, 51, showed off her shapely figure in a slinky asymmetrical white mini dress, while Diezel wore a dashing grey suit over a white shirt, with his long hair tied up in a top-knot.

Toni was previously married to musician Keri Lewis, with whom she shares sons Denim, 17, and Diezel, 16.

TONI BRAXTON'S SON IS NOW A MODEL

The young man, who is Toni's younger son, was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3, but now seems to be recovered.

The handsome 16-year-old Diezel has a modeling contract with Wilhelmina Models, the world’s leading modeling agency, since June 2018, and promises to make his mark on the fashion world.

BRAXTON GIRLS WERE THE STARS OF THE EVENING

The Braxtons were out in full force, and in all their splendid glamour to celebrate made yet another season premiere of their hit reality show. Mom Eveleyn Braxton, 71, was elegant in a long-sleeved maroon dress. Also present were daughters Traci, 48, Tamar, 42, Trina, 44, and of course, Toni.

TONI BRAXTON ENGAGED TO BE MARRIED

Toni's happy glow can be attributed to the presence of her youngest son, and to the news that her recently broken-off engagement to rapper Birdman is said to be on again.

The engagement has been discussed endlessly on social media, especially since Toni lost the $5 million diamond ring Birdman had given her.

Toni was previously married to musician Keri Lewis, with whom she shares sons Denim, 17, and Diezel, 16.

DIEZEL'S MIRACULOUS RECOVERY FROM AUTISM

Toni Braxton's youngest son, Diezel was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication and by repetitive behavior.

Prompted by her son's condition, and eager to reach out to other mothers dealing with the same challenge, Toni became the global ambassador for the organization Autism Speaks.

When Diezel was 13, Toni revealed that her son no longer exhibited symptoms of autism:

"My youngest son, as everyone knows, my son Diezel suffers from - or I should say suffered from autism. I am one of the lucky parents."

Toni attributed her son's recovery to early diagnosis and enrolment in programs suggested by Autism Speaks' co-founder Suzanne Wright.
