'It Doesn't Matter,' Jennifer Lopez Finally Responds to Alex Rodriguez Cheating Allegations

Jennifer Lopez is finally responding to rumors that her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, cheated on her, and if anything, her reply is a fierce clapback at those who started the stories.

Lopez said “Yes” to her MLB beau early last month and less than 24 hours later, Rodriguez’s former New York Yankees teammate Jose Canseco was accusing him of infidelity. The singer/actress has remained quiet ever since, until now.

During an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” to promote her latest screen project “The Hustlers,” Lopez made it clear that the speculations were non-existent as far as she’s concerned.

“It doesn’t matter. I know what the truth is,” said the 49-year-old to radio hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, and Angela Yee.

WHAT REALLY MATTERS

Lopez continued:

“I know who [Alex] is. He knows who I am. We're just happy. We're not gonna let other people come out and tell us what our relationship is. I know what our relationship is."

A FAIRYTALE LOVE

Lopez and Rodriguez, 43, got engaged on March 9 after two years of dating. The pair was on a Bahamas getaway when the former athlete got down on one knee and asked Lopez to be his wife.

Both lovebirds shared the news on social media and millions of well-wishers, including TV show host Ellen DeGeneres, shared in their happiness.

BOLD ALLEGATIONS FROM A FORMER COLLEAGUE

But there was at least one person who wasn’t so happy: Jose Canseco. The former baseball player called out Rodriguez in a series of tweets, claiming the latter has been cheating on Lopez with his [Canseco’s] ex-wife, Jessica.

“Watching World of Dance; watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez,” Canseco tweeted, referring to Lopez’s NBC dance show. “Little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is.” At one point, he even tweeted his cell number at Lopez, asking her to call him for the truth.

DEBUNKING THE RUMOR

Not too long after, however, Jessica rubbished her ex-husband’s claims via the same medium:

“Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5. I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose he can keep playing with his Alien friends.”

FRESH ACCUSATIONS SURFACE

When fans thought they’d seen the end of infidelity allegations against Rodriguez, a Playboy model named Zoe Gregory also came forward claiming that she and the sports broadcaster exchanged sexually explicit texts up until late January and that he even once sent her a picture of his male member.

THE UNBOTHERED LIFE

Neither J-Lo nor A-Rod had addressed these rumors, and indeed, the couple did not seem fazed by the onslaught. Now that Lopez has finally broken her silence, we know for sure that it doesn't matter to their relationship.

Although there are no wedding details yet, Lopez and Rodriguez continue to live their best life with an adorable blended family. Lopez has 11-year-old twins Max and Emme with her ex-husband Marc Anthony while A-Rod is a dad to two daughters, Natasha, 14 and Ella, ten, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
