Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s Baby Name Is Finally Revealed
A few hours after Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle showed “Baby Sussex” to the media, as people had been calling their son, they finally revealed his name.
During the presentation event, held earlier today in the grounds of Windsor Castle, Meghan Markle admitted to being happy for having the best two people in the world, referring to Prince Harry and Baby Sussex. She even said that he has the “sweetest temperament” and that “he is really calm.”

When asked about who the baby took after, Harry, who held the child in his arms the entire time, said that “everybody said that babies change so much over two weeks,” which is why they will be monitoring him “over this next month.”

A few hours later, the couple revealed his name through a post shared on their official Instagram account: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. In the black-and-white image, Meghan appeared holding the baby while Queen Elizabeth was smiling at him. Princes Harry and Phillip and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, were also depicted in the picture.
All the descendants of Queen Elizabeth take the family name Mountbatten-Windsor – a combination of Elizabeth’s official last name and Prince Phillip’s surname.
Archie Harrison is seventh in line to the throne. He is the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh's eighth great-grandchild and the Prince of Wales's fourth grandchild.
He was born shortly before at 5:30 a.m. on May 6, weighing 7lb 3oz. Meghan, who was more than a week overdue, is believed to have gone into labor late on May 5.
