Lori Harvey Reacts to Ex Trey Songz's Baby Announcement
Lori Harvey and Trey Songz are friendly exes. The stepdaughter of famed talk show host Steve Harvey was one of the first people to congratulate Trey on the birth of his son.
Lori and the R&B singer were rumored to be dating several months back, but even though they allegedly broke up over the appearance of a new man, the exes seem to be cool now.
When Trey took to Instagram yesterday with a photo teasing the news of his fatherhood debut, Lori was one of the first famous names to extend their good wishes.
Neither has he been romantically linked with anyone since Lori, so along with the good wishes are speculations about the baby’s mother.
Although the “Heart Attack” singer’s photo only showed a man’s hand holding a baby’s foot, most of the comments that followed suggested he had just welcomed a baby.
Lori gushed:
“Awww that little foot [lovestruck emoji] Happy for you T!!! [red heart emoji]”
Other celebrities like Kevin Hart, Marlon Wayans, and singer Kehlani, also joined Lori in congratulating Trey.
Lori and Trey were first rumored to be dating in December after pictures surfaced of the duo getting cozy and hitting jewelry stores together.
A month later, the “Na Na” hitmaker seemed to confirm the speculations by declaring his “love” to Lori on her birthday, only for split rumors to circulate in February.
At the time, Lori deleted all of Trey’s pictures from her social media and was reportedly spotted kissing the British Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton. The runway model was also acquiring quite the reputation as she was rumored to be dating many celebrities at the same time.
Now, however, it appears there’s no bad blood between Lori, 22, and Trey as she seems genuinely happy for her ex.
Hours after posting the first cryptic photo, the 34-year-old Virginia native would confirm that he is now a bona fide member of the Dads’ Club with a full face picture of his son.
“My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace,” Trey captioned a photo of his infant wearing a blue-and-white bear-patterned onesie.
The "Bottoms Up" singer did not offer any information about his son’s mother and neither has he been romantically linked with anyone since Lori, so along with the good wishes are speculations about the baby’s mother.
Whether Trey decides to share that part of his life or not, we're sending him best wishes on the new arrival.
