Archie’s Birth Certificate Reveals Duchess Meghan Delivered Him in a London Hospital
The official birth certificate of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle’s son, Archie, was released and it revealed that the 37-year-old lady gave birth in a hospital in London.
Several people believed that Meghan had opted for a home birth at Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate, mainly because no member of the family had previously shared information about that aspect of the delivery.
However, Baby Sussex’s birth certificate makes clear that he was born at London’s Portland Hospital, located on Great Portland Street.
Even though it was surprising, especially because Duchess Kate’s children were born at the Lindo Wing, Archie is not the only member of the Royal Family born there.
Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, both daughters of Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, were born there in 1988 and 1990, respectively.
Another aspect confirmed in the birth certificate was that Archie was born at 05:26 a.m. weighing 7lbs 3oz. Apart from that, the document listed Meghan as the “Princess of the United Kingdom.”
The baby Prince is seventh in line to the throne, after their father Harry and his niece and nephews Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
