Faith Evan's Birthday Tribute to Biggie Sparks Debate about Her & Stevie J

Faith Evans posted a birthday tribute to her late husband Biggie and triggered a flood of comments from fans on her marriage to Stevie J.

It has been 22 years since iconic rapper Biggie was murdered, but his wife Faith Evans has never forgotten him.

On his birthday, May 21, Faith posted a tribute to her late husband, who would have turned 47, and inadvertently sparked a debate about her recent marriage to Biggie's music producer, Stevie J.

FAITH EVAN'S MARRIAGE TO BIGGIE

Faith married Biggie in 1994, and a tempestuous relationship followed. The couple shared a son, CJ Wallace, who was just 5 months old when The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered.

Biggie had come under investigation for Tupac Shakur's murder since the rapper had claimed to have had a relationship with Faith while the couple was estranged.

Faith remarried in 1998, to Todd Russaw, a year after Biggie's death.

THE FANS REACT TO THE TRIBUTE

While some fans were moved by Faith's remembrance of Biggie, others were critical of the R&B singer for having married her deceased husband's friend, Stevie J, an act they considered disrespectful.

Some fans of Faith's fans felt that her recent marriage was a betrayal of Biggie, while others were supportive and wished them well.

STEVIE J IS FAITH EVAN'S THIRD HUSBAND

Fans seem to have forgotten that Faith remarried in 1998, to Todd Russaw, a year after Biggie's death.

Faith and Russaw, whom she divorced in 2011, share two sons: Joshua, 20, and, Ryan, 12.

Faith recently sang at the funeral of close friend Sean Combs' longtime love Kim Porter, comforting him - just as Combs helped her through the dark days after Biggie's death.

Fans of the celebrities were stunned when Faith Evans and Stevie J married on July 17, 2018.

The two who were longtime friends, married in Las Vegas after briefly announcing that they were "dating".

Stevie J who became notorious for his philandering ways while on the reality show "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta," is the father of 6 children with 5 different women: Rhonda Henderson, Felicia Stover, Carol Antoinette Bennett, Mimi Faust, and Joseline Hernandez.

Faith, 45, has hinted that she and Stevie J are thinking of growing their family.
