Prince William's Best Friend Is Getting Married to a Teacher at Prince George's School
Prince George’s prep school teacher, Lucy Lanigan-O’Keeffe, is to tie the knot with Prince William’s best friend Thomas van Straubenzee. Sounds like a perfect textbook romance!
Lucy, 31, is the outdoor learning and mindfulness teacher at Thomas’s Battersea in South-west London. Prince George has been attending the school for two years now and his sister, Princess Charlotte, will be following him in September.
The Duke of Cambridge is expected to be an usher for Straubenzee’s wedding where Princess Charlotte is expected to be a bridesmaid and Prince George will be a pageboy.
Since Straubenzee made a speech at his best friend's wedding back in 2011, there is a possibility that Williams will return the favor.

Straubenzee, who is Princess Charlotte's godfather, has been friends with Williams since their boarding school days in Berkshire. His brother, Charlie, is also friends with Williams and Harry and he joined Straubenzee at Harry’s royal wedding last year as an usher.
The property mogul was previously married to the Duke of Northumberland’s daughter Lady Melissa Percy at Alnwick Castle, which is her family’s ancestral home. Unfortunately, the marriage lasted only three years.
According to the Sunday Times, Straubenzee’s brother Charlie is expected to be named a godfather to Harry and Meghan’s firstborn, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
The royal tradition allows a baby to have between five to eight godparents and while Charlie is on the list, there are other potential candidates who might be named godparents to Baby Sussex including Princess Eugenie, Captain Mark William Galloway Dyer, Mr.Jake Warren, and Amanda Kline.
Considering Meghan’s previous acting career, some other potential choices include, Benita Litt, George and Amal Clooney, Jessica and Ben Mulroney, and Serena Williams.
