Goldie Hawn Reacts to Kate Hudson Getting Her Head Covered in Green Goo for a Movie

Kate Hudson’s video of herself covered in green goo got a hilarious but fond response from her mother, Goldie Hawn.

Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson are continually giving their fans and social media followers mother-daughter goals, with their fond comments on each other's posts.

Hudson recently shared a short video clip on Instagram showing makeup artists applying green goo on her face to make a mask. The video which the actress revealed, with hashtags, is for her next movie “Monalisa and the Blood Moon,” showed the “Almost Famous” star’s entire face getting covered with only her nostrils opened for air.

Hudson captioned the post “A first time for everything,” and it turned out that while she was getting prepped for her mask, her mother was trying to reach her. Goldie took to the comment section to inform her daughter in a funny but fond way that she had been trying to reach her.

The 73-year-old actress wrote,

“No wonder you didn’t call me back,”

to which her only female child responded, “Hahaha.”

Hudson and her mother share a strong mother-daughter bond; the older woman once said in an interview that they have a significant amount of love, and respect for each other.

The mum-of-three equally said that they share a lot of joy, laughter, and pain, adding that they understand each other and share everything in their lives.

Hudson agrees with her mother’s assessment of their relationship. To the actress, there is no secret between her and her mum; they tell each other everything and have a very open relationship.

The mother-daughter duo equally supports each other in their relationships and spend family time together. Early this month, the women vacationed with their family in Italy, soaking up the sun on a luxury yacht.

Hudson had with her, her 33-year-old boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, and children, Ryder, Bing, and Rani, while Goldie had her partner of 36 years, Kurt Russell with her.

Apart from the “Fools Good” actress, Goldie has two more children — Oliver Hudson and Wyatt Russell, whom she had with Kurt.

On Father’s Day, the Oscar-nominated actress called the father-of-two the best dad in the world, and her daughter confirmed it in the comment section.

Goldie returned the compliment when the younger woman wished Fujikawa a happy Father’s Day on Instagram, writing,

"What a blessing you are papa."

In a world where women are actively supporting each other, it’s exciting to see Hudson and her mother doing the same.
