Blake Shelton Opens up on Plans to Marry Gwen Stefani: ‘I Think about It'

Country singer Blake Shelton talked marriage plans with pop artist sweetheart, Gwen Stefani, saying he thinks about it.

In a recent interview with CMT Radio with Cody Alan, Shelton, 43, said it's fair to say he thinks about marrying Stefani, 49.

"Blake loves getting dirty with the boys. They’re always playing basketball or running around."

“Well, sure that’s a fair question. I think about it,” Shelton said.

“I don’t think it’s anytime soon or anything,” he added. “The more time that goes by, I guess, the closer you’d be getting to that.”

The inquiry originated from remarks Stefani made recently during her appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The "Don't Speak" singer revealed to DeGeneres that she thinks about marrying her longtime boyfriend constantly.

“You know, what? I love weddings,” Stefani said. “The kids love him. We love him. Everybody loves him. He is lovable…."

In Shelton's birthday a month ago, the multi-awarded singer called Shelton her "favorite human" in a heartwarming birthday post.

"Happy b day to my favorite human!!! Can’t believe your mine #soooooolucky!!!!" Stefani wrote on Instagram.

The beloved pair spends a lot of time on Shelton's 1,200-acre ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma with Stefani's sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

An insider disclosed to Us Weekly recently that on the ranch, they usually are outside.

"Blake loves getting dirty with the boys. They’re always playing basketball or running around,” the source said. “They love it there because it’s just the five of them out on the land, hunting or hiking.”

Shelton and Stefani confirmed they were dating in November of 2015. The couple struck up a romantic relationship while serving as co-judges on "The Voice."

Shelton has had two failed marriages. He first married in 2003, with long-time girlfriend, Kaynette Gern. They divorced in 2006.

He married fellow country singer, Miranda Lambert, in May 2011, five years after they started dating. They announced their divorce in July 2015.

Meanwhile, Stefani and Rossdale, a British rock musician, divorced in April 2016 after 14 years of marriage.
