See How Mary J. Blige Rocked Essence Festival Stage in Leopard-Print Romper & Boots
Mary J. Blige looked terrific as she took to the stage to perform at the Essence Festival. The legendary singer wowed the crowd in an eye-catching leopard-print romper selected by stylist duo Wayman + Micah.
Essence Festival which took place at New Orleans was a weekend full of activities with incredible performances from artists like Big Freedia, Missy Elliott, and Pharrell Williams. Mary J. Blige was one of those who kept their fans on their feet with her fantastic performance.
THE STYLE ICON
The R&B singer is known for her mouth-watering styles, and also her love for animal print wears. In a series images shared on her Instagram page, Blige rocked a lovely custom flashy jeweled Sergio Hudson leopard romper.
The "Mighty River" singer adorned the look with an Alberta Ferretti knee-high boots, and her blond hair was packed in a ponytail. The singer who held onto a mic finished the diva look with a Fenty shade. She looked gorgeous!
The image was taken on stage while Blige performed for her massive fan following at the Superdome in celebration of her album, "My Life at Essence Festival."
The 48-year-old captioned the series of images which also had pictures of the rapper, Lil Kim with the words:
"#EssenceFestival2019 w/ @lilkimthequeenbee and next stop."
Her fans were delighted to see the legend look so good, and took to the comment section to reveal how beautiful she looked in the pictures she shared.
HER OTHER OUTFITS
The leopard-print romper was, however, one of the three outfits she changed into during her set. The nine-time Grammy award winner later changed into a monochromatic pink Ralph and Russo Couture outfit which she finished off with icy boots customized by independent designer Angel Brinks.
The last outfit of the day was a lovely top and bodysuit by La Perla (a luxury lingerie brand.) The look was completed with Good American jeans and boots.

Essence is celebrating 25 years of bringing together and celebrating black artists in the industry. Over the years, the event has grown into a platform to celebrate black culture.
The event is so diverse that people of all age groups, ethnicity and musical background all over the world can come together, have fun and together celebrate their culture.
And one of those who did a beautiful job bringing that culture back was Mary J. Blige, and of course, with her iconic style.
