At 75, veteran soul singer Gladys Knight can still rock a shimmery piece. Her husband of many decades, William McDowell proudly took to social media to share new pictures of her.

The picture, dated August 7, features Gladys and her husband of nearly two decades, William McDowell out at a party. The beautiful couple stole the show while elegantly dressed for the occasion.

The “Empress of Soul,” as Gladys is famously described, wore a shimmery gold dress sporting long sleeves and a round neckline. She looked as stunning as ever with her face made up and her hair styled into her black signature curls

The mother of three kept her accessories to a minimum, and in the picture, only small silver hoops can be seen. What is most stunning about Gladys’ appearance is how youthful she looks.

Judging from her appearance in this picture, it's hard to tell that the singer is in her mid-70s! The figure-flattering and see-through fabric of her golden dress does very much to accentuate her womanly figure.

Pictured standing by her tall hubby, Gladys is the envy of many fans. Williams made the perfect partner for his award-winning star wife.

He wore a white shirt underneath a black suit and a matching bow tie. Much like many of his public appearances, Williams had on a pair of dark glasses.

THE AGELESS BEAUTY

Gladys Knight has been married four times and has three children in total. Her marriage to Williams has lasted for about 18 years, and till date, their relationship is going strong. Together, they have seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

That is one of the things that make it very hard to believe that the “Midnight Train to Georgia” crooner could look as young as she does.

Gladys always leaves fans in awe whenever she graces the red carpet, and it was one of these times that she finally responded to the compliments and comments on her ageless beauty.

The singer credits her “God-given” genes and eating clean for looking so young. Via Instagram, she said:

“Thankful for these God-given genes and clean living. My activity of choices has been tennis. [I’m] working my way up to be as good as Serena Williams and Venus Williams.”

She also thanked her husband whom she says “has an eye for fashion” and states he may have “missed his calling as a stylist.” No wonder they make a great pair!
