New Seattle Sounders FC Co-Owner Ciara Pens Inspiring Message to Daughter Sienna

Ciara had a powerful message for her daughter - and all girls - after announcing the acquisition of a football club.

Grammy winner Ciara announced that she and her husband Russell Wilson's have joined the ownership group of the Seattle Sounders FC.

The singer shared an inspirational post on Instagram with a powerful message for her daughter, Sienna and all the other little girls in the world.

"@DangeRussWilson & I are happy to announce we're Team Owners of the Seattle @SoundersFC one of the best soccer franchises in the world! Can't wait for our kids to grow up loving Soccer! Family is everything! Football &Futbol is Family! #SoundersIsFamily." Ciara

CIARA TO SIENNA: "YOU CAN DO IT"

Ciara's message to her daughter is simple and powerful: Never let anything or anyone stop you from doing what you want to do because of your gender.

And coming from a woman who walks the walk, and talks the talk and has achieved everything she set her mind to, it's quite an inspiration.

Russell and Ciara hinted that they have a lot more plans involving sport and their community up their sleeves

SIENNA PRINCESS SCORE A GOAL

The message accompanied a sweet video clip of 2-year-old Sienna in a Seattle Sounders shirt running towards the goalposts with the football in her hand, setting it down at the last moment and scoring a goal.

"Baby Girl, You will be able to do anything you put your mind to if you simply believe! Never walk in a room thinking of what you can't do because of your gender! If you think it, it's possible. If you dream it, it's possible. If you believe it, it's possible. It's that simple," she wrote.

CIARA JOINS A VERY SELECT GROUP OF WOMEM

As Ciara pointed our, there are only a handful of female owners of Major League Sports teams, so her acquisition of the Seattle Souders cracks the glass ceiling for women everywhere.

"Go Si Si mama! Baby Girl You're Next! And to every girl in this world, you can do anything you want to do and be anything you want to be! It truly possible if you believe. #WhyNotYou #GirlGang, " she wrote.

RUSSELL WILSON AND CIARA INVEST IN SEATTLE

But for Ciara and Russell, their investment in the soccer club is all about family values and encouraging a healthier lifestyle from a young age.

They want to bring the best players to their club and promote the dissemination of soccer in the community.

"We are fired up about the Seattle Sounders because it's our home. It's the place we get to raise our kids and the place we are forever connected to. We want to have the world's best soccer players play here in Seattle and win championships!" they said.

Russell and Ciara hinted that they have a lot more plans involving sport and their community up their sleeves and that they will also be investing in entertainment.

CIARA COLLABORATES WITH NIKE

Ciara was all smiles when she announced that she has been named the Creative Director of the Nike and Jordan Kids fall apparel collections.

The singer shared the happy news with her fans on Twitter, posting a gorgeous photo of herself with her two children and captioned it:

"I am so proud to share that I am the Creative Director of the Nike and Jordan Kids fall apparel collections exclusively at @FinishLine! Mommy’s and Daddy’s line up! Get your babies fresh!"

This is certainly one more gigantic step for Ciara, and in addition to the Seattle Sounders FC announcement places her squarely in the middle of one of the most influential sports brands in the world.
