LA Lakers' Star Demarcus Cousins and His Longtime Love Get Married in Lavish Atlanta Wedding
Los Angeles Lakers center DeMarcus Cousins finally tied the knot with his longtime love, Morgan Lang, at the St. Regis Atlanta in Georgia.
DMC has definitely kept his game up even off the court as he now scores a beautiful bride in Morgan Lang. The longtime lovers celebrated a grand wedding at the St. Regis Atlanta, with Lily V Events providing their expertise in lavish festivities.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the married couple expressed overwhelming emotions with the monumental set-up, highlighting its impressiveness from “top to bottom.”
Wedding planner Lynn Ehumadu of Lily V Events highlights that the central theme of the celebration revolves around a millennial’s interpretation of old Hollywood while incorporating both the interests of the couple.
“We translated a millennial’s interpretation of old Hollywood and what it would be like in current times using Morgan’s love for flowers and ensuring the arrangements were just as towering as Demarcus,” wedding planner Lynn Ehumadu of Lily V Events said.
The wedding’s success stems out from an array of contributors, from the couple’s wedding day fits up until entertainment. The bride walked down the aisle in a gown by Daughters of Nonyelum, while DMC kept things clean with a classic tux from Rich Fresh.
On the other hand, the main course from St. Regis was coupled with dessert from Julie Miller Cake Design. More so, the event was filled with pleasure as the couple, together with their guests, received entertainment from Trey Daniels Music.
These memories were all captured by Shumanev Production, a luxury photo and video production for events. From the looks of it, the wedding was one of the happiest celebrations of the bride and groom.
Fellow NBA stars certainly did not miss the big event as groomsmen John Wall, and Eric Bledsoe were in attendance. Former and current teammates Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, Anthony Davis, Quinn Cook, and Matt Barnes also came to witness the big celebration.
DMC’s big wedding day has only been one of the reasons he has been on the headlines. Amongst those include his recent one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers in pursuit of a championship.
The acquisition of DMC by one of the NBA’s most storied franchises was the result of a decision by current Lakers GM Rob Pelinka. Pelinka has been the De Facto President of Basketball Operations since the resignation of NBA Legend Magic Johnson due to alleged backstabbing by the former.
