Simone Biles Posts Labor Day Weekend Pic with Friends after Brother Charged with Ohio Triple Murder
For the first time in her life Olympic gymnast, Simone Biles is hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Simone Biles is facing a nightmare as her brother Tevin M. Biles-Thomas was arrested for a triple murder, and the media has splashed her face alongside his in every article about the crime.
Now she is being criticized for posting an upbeat message on Instagram in the midst of her family tragedy.
SIMONE BILES POSTS "HAPPY THOUGHTS"
Amidst the oppressive news that have crushed the Biles family, Simone posted a photo of herself with two friends, and captioned it:
"Girls day to drink happy thoughts"
The three friends were celebrating Labor Day weekend, and clearly Simone was trying to set the tragedy aside for a brief respite.
The athlete confessed that she is having trouble processing that her brother, who is in the US Army is responsible for such a heinous deed.
THE TRAGIC CRIME THAT SAW TEVIN BILES-THOMAS ARRESTED
Simone's brother, Tevin Biles-Thomas was arrested in Fort Stewart in Georgia for the murder of three men on New Year's Eve in Ohio. He has been charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and perjury.
A SENSELESS MURDER
Police reports reveal that a fight broke out when uninvited guests arrived at a New Year's party being thrown in the apartment. At that time Biles-Thomas is said to have opened fire on the group Devaughn Gibson, 23, DelVaunte Johnson, 19, and Toshon Banks, 21, were killed, each having suffered several gunshot wounds.
SIMONE BILES DEVASTATED
Despite the apparently happy post on Instagram, Simone revealed her state of mind more clearly on Twitter, posting:
"Eating my feelings don’t talk to me."
We can only imagine the anguish the Biles family is going through. Our hearts go out to them, and to the families of the New Year's Eve shooting.

SIMONE BILES ADDRESSES TRAGEDY FOR THE FIRST TIME
Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has addressed her brother's arrest for the murder of three people for the first time.
The athlete confessed that she is having trouble processing that her brother, who is in the US Army is responsible for such a heinous deed.
"There is nothing that I can say that will heal anyone's pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. I ask everyone to please respect my family's privacy as we deal with our pain," she wrote.
Simone, who has won 5 Olympic medals and 14 world championships, is the great favorite for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
