THE "HARDEST THING" ALAINA EVER DID

Before hitting the "DWTS" stage, Alaina admitted that the dancing competition was the "hardest thing" she had ever done in her life

“A lot of things that I’ve done that I focus on have come easily to me," she revealed. "Singing, performing, you know, being on camera, acting. I’ve had to work at it, but not like this. This is like a whole new skill set for me.”

SHE IS NOT THE FIRST

Besides Alaina, there are other country singers who previously competed on the show. Country singers including Billy Ray Cyrus, Wynonna Judd, Sara Evans, and Jana Kramer have all danced in the "DWTS" ballroom.

Country singer Kellie Pickler won the competition in 2013 along with her professional dance partner, Derek Hough.

Luckily for Brinley, her daughter Sailor filled her shoes, competing on the show on her behalf. The 21-year-old took the "DWTS" stage to perform her mother's routine.

"Showbiz is all about getting a break, and Sailor and I both got one on 'Dancing with the Stars' this season. Sailor joined the cast when I got mine … ouch somebody stop me, it hurts to laugh!" Brinkley joked in a statement.

According to Sailor, she was initially "terrified" as she prepared to join the show. She learned the entire routine in just a matter of a few hours.

But it all turned out to be perfect in the end as she danced on the stage like a pro.
