Megastar Jennifer Lopez, 50, and sports legend Alex Rodriguez, 44, announced their engagement in March 2019, after over two years of dating.
A-Rod had popped the question at a romantic getaway in the Bahamas, and now they have finally thrown an extravagant party to celebrate their engagement.
AN ENGAGEMENT CELEBRATED WITH THEIR CHILDREN
On September 27, J-Lo and A-Rod celebrated their engagement at the Bel Air home of singer/songwriter Carole Bayer Sager.
The loved-up couple was surrounded by their closest friends and family, and the most important guests of all were their children: J-Lo's twins Max and Emme, and A-Rod's daughters Maribel, Ella and Natasha.

Apart from their families, J-Lo and A-Rod's guest list was studded with celebrities and A-listers, among them such luminaries as Leah Remini, Benny Medina, and Angelo Pagan.

Guests described the party as romantic, with extravagant decor, consisting mostly of white flowers, candlelight, and purple lighting, with both indoor and outdoor leisure areas, as can be seen in the photos the couple shared on Instagram.

J-Lo and A-Rod are playing their cards close to the vest where the actual wedding is concerned,
They have not announced the date or the location, although A-Rod did indicate that the guests would be taking "a long flight."
The only certainty that J-Lo has given fans is that the wedding will be in 2020, and the man who will be walking her down the aisle is her 11-year-old son, Max.
