Meghan Markle Recycles Her Engagement Dress a Year after She First Announced Her Pregnancy
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend the WellChild awards. The Duchess of Sussex re-wears the dress she wore when she announced her engagement in 2017.
When it comes to fashion, Meghan Markle proved that she is just like the rest of us. During an appearance with Prince Harry at the WellChild awards, she re-wore an old dress.
It is reported, she first wore the forest green dress by P.A.R.O.S.H in 2017, when the royal couple sat down for their first interview after announcing their engagement.
The design by P.A.R.O.S.H is a green, knee length and form fitting dress with a matching bow on the side. After just five months since she gave birth, the style choice perfectly extenuates her slim figure. The designer's give their approval, saying:
"The Duchess #MeghanMarkle rewears our engagement interview Dress for tonight's @wellchild awards. Such an Amazing Welcome for our upcoming opening in London ?? . Definitely addicted to you Meghan."
Meghan and Harry were attending the WellChild awards to help honor social care, education and health professionals for the work they do to support sick children.
The ceremony also celebrates the sick children and their families, for their efforts in helping sick people. Before the ceremony, the royal couple got the opportunity to meet with some of award winners.
The award for "The Most Caring Child," went to 16-year-old Will Jones. He was honored for his commitment in looking after his younger brother's complicated medical needs, after meeting the royals, he says:
"Harry and Meghan asked me about how I care for James and have a social life, but I'm just used to the balance really. I was nervous before meeting them, but it was good."

The adoring couple revealed that the last time they attended the event, they had just found out that they were pregnant, Sussex Royal Instagram account explains:
"Last year when my wife and I attended we knew we were expecting our first child - no one else did at the time, but we did - and I remember squeezing Meghan's hand so tightly during the awards, both of us thinking what it would be like to be parents one day."
Harry has been a Patron of WellChild since 2007. This was Meghan's second time attending the event. It is reported, WellChild was one of four charities chosen by the couple to receive items that were donated by the public in honor Archie's birth.
